Join us as we visit Butlin's Minehead for a midweek break full of fantastic entertainment, the traditional fairground and much more. In this video we share a room tour of the gold accommodation at the Minehead resort along with showcasing the various different attractions. We watch an awesome tribute to Robbie Williams, watch the famous Redcoat show and much more including on ride footage from the many different attractions at the fairground. We also hire a dino bike, visit various different shops and restaurants and much more in our action packed vlog!

@@ThemeParkWorldwide Do you remember the Characters that would walk around. For you y' taken with. 8 get 🤔 do go before leaving the last day. 'The Photo Shop' ( It'd cost about 500 quid like ( haha I'm exaggerating. Or Am I 👀haha 😂) The 'Boating lake.We got stuck. Arguing with my cousin. The oar had a load of 'Sludge' on. LSS He pulled it out of the water. It ended up on me. I jumped out onto the bank. Got chased by a load of swans😂 The 'Old cinema. In the Gaiety Theatre Playing 'Bigfoot' ha! The Outdoor pool, ( Wide open!! When it was easier to jump in. Without having to climb over 6-7 ft t ralilings And. Made to climb Back over by security when we got caught up Just a few funny memories Time for a Trip back I think! Seriously though Was nice to hear about things others may not know of too. And. Just the little things. About the Uniform, History. That about The Fairground. Is Jaks still there?

When I went to Butlins Skegness way back in 1987 there used to be two overhead monorails there that were painted in tobacco sponsorship colours. One was advertising Silk Cut while the other was advertising John Player Special. Imagine people's uproar if a family-friendly holiday camp did that today!

this brings back memories! i used to work at Butlins in the Centre Stage and Reds shops back in 2010/2011 time! i took my son to Skegness resort back in May and he loved it! thinking of taking him to Minehead and Bognor Regis soon :) thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I've got to say, Butlins seems to really have improved! What a lovely vlog. The bikes seem very expensive though. At Center Parcs, you can hire bikes for the entire duration of your stay for a very similar cost.

How much Butlins has changed since I was there last like 10 years ago. Great fun filled vlog. So many things to see and do at Butlins. Not a bad tribute to Robbie Williams. Nice to see everyone singing and dancing. Nice to see your on the pedal go karts to get around faster.

Really enjoyed this, thank you! My parents took us here all the time in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I have so many fond memories of Butlin’s.

It was 1987 when I went on holiday to Butlins at Minehead, and obviously things have changed over the years. I'll never forget that our chalet was number 760, the very last on the camp!

We were there this time last year and are going again on 10th August 2018 and can’t wait. We love it as our main family holiday. Keep up the videos mate we watch them regular and the kids are constantly watching the Universal Harry Potter ones ready for our Familymoon next year.

Great vlog. When I was 18 I was a Blue Coat at Pontins, Blackpool and worked in the main ballroom (had to endure the Umpah Band every Tuesday night) - looks like nothing much has changed at Butlins! 😂

Bit soppy but I've been a huge theme park enthusiast since I was a kid and I love watching all your vlogs. However this vlog has a certain charm to it despite not being a theme park. Robbie Williams was a big part of my childhood as my mum is a huge fan so seeing you all having fun listening to tunes of my childhood and enjoying your time. It was really touching and nice. Well done guys

have great memories from there. we went to the spring harvest event there three years ago. it was amazing, the whole place was so friendly, and we just loved the water park, unfortunately we didn't have the fancy accommodation you had, I love Bert by the way 😀😀

Last time I was here was back in 2008. Butlins was my childhood :). And I'm surprised that Bob the Builder themed kids area is still there too. I loved Bob the Builder as a kid

Loved this! I went to minehead MANY years ago (i have got some pics of me from around 1998/1999) so will probably look at going back at some point. Me and my brother though have some very odd traditions we follow every time we go on holiday with our parents. our favourite which has been in place since 2005 (i was 8, he was 5) invokves air hockey and even when we went to Lanzarote we found 3 air hockey tables and had a game.......or 3! Current wins are 25 (to him), 40 (to me)

Omg this brings back memories I used to come here with my mum and grandpa but we stopped comeing in 2016 I am so happy it hasn’t changed a lot :) No the change the paint in the kids like land I remember the ladybugs where red and the planes where dark blue and the trains where all green

We stayed at bognor Regis butlins 2 yrs ago .the staff were great when we had car problems and couldn't leave on our leaving day ,they gave us free extra days and free food vouchers . And no hotel charges . Couldn't thank them enough .I was last at bognor site 1978 with school ,how it has changed but great to see the staff are brilliant .

I went to a Steps weekend in Minehead in February. I was in Reds until 5:00 in the morning every day. Crazy weekend, you can't beat the adult ones!

I went here in 1988 when I was a kid. Had about 5 rides back then. That paratrooper ride was there back then . Also had a simulator ride .

I love Butlins - Minehead is my happy place! My family and I arrive in a few weeks for my 30th birthday and I can't wait! I adore everything about it... Except for World of Wonders! The first summer we went (2016) it was a creepy live show about a mad scientist and werewolf, it was excellent! Sad that went we went back last year it had changed!

I have been going to Butlins Minehead for over ten years. The heater skelter has always been there, it didn’t get brought back. I went on it as a kid it was closed for years and they did it up. Billy Butlins was the first man to ever bring the dogems over into the uk. The fairground now is where the outdoor swimming pools use to be where a monorail ran over the top and around the camp. I’m so glad it’s got the original theme to it and the retro ness to the fair as when I was a kid :) so much has changed here. I’m going in two weeks time. great vlog

They was both removed in 1998 to make way for the modernisation and the building of the Skyline Pavilion

never been to Minehead before, just come back from skegness. Next year opening easter they are having a new fairground, The circus tent at skegness got struck by lightning and brought it down. great vlog

Skegness is just a fairground dumped in a car par so they are knocking down jacks so they can put it there and they don't have the Miami wave anymore due to safety reasons
