Agreed. He looked the light and that's it. The ikea cart looked like what it is, cheap. The DIY was at least very inspired by his ideas and was bigger and nicer for a bar cart.

The only positive thing about him choosing the buy is that she can now keep the diy😂 I mean, that was freaking awesome!! Even better when it was still copper. How could you want that ikea bar cart over this eye catcher😩

DIY because that ikea thingy is soo overused, my eyes are really bored seeing it again.. yes it is practical but also allready dated. The lights where cool, DIY and I will buy the lights extra :)

I have seven... yes SEVEN raskog carts in my house. I have two as side tables in my master bedroom, one in my daughters room for books, two in my kitchen as a coffee bar and the other for produce and the last one is in my laundry room! The last one in the garage with grilling supplies. They are the absolute best. I don’t find them boring at all.

DIY made a much better decor statement. Unique vs ubiquitous. I have the IKEA cart and I like it, (not for my bar cart) but I’d rather have the one-of-a-kind.

Sooo disappointed he chose the Buy. The DIY was sweet and I liked the lights on the cart better than the lights on the wall. The Buy was doing too much with the lights and nowhere near enough with the cart. Still, another great episode. Love this series!

Preferred the DIY. I reckon that the Fresh Prince chose the buy solely for the lights. The IKEA cart is overused. I got one of those for my crochet from Kmart, for 40 AUD less.

I have been wondering what happens to the rejected options too. I preferred Dani’s bar cart as well, but I have no use for one. I am trying to figure out why she went for copper pipes since she used glue and sprayed them black. The cart would have been considerably cheaper had she used pvc pipe or even the galvanized steel pipes. Galvanized steel with acrylic tubes and el wire would have both a vintage industrial and futuristic vibe at the same time. I’d have left off the 90s inspired graphics so it could grow with him better, but he could repaint. The ikea carts can be jazzed up a lot more. They can be spray painted of course but it is also easy to add appliqués or transfers too. But I think the height of the shelves makes it impractical for a bar cart. Too easy to break glassware banging it into the sides, which is probably why actual bar carts have open fronts.

The buy fits his space more, but I feel like Danny did more of what he requested by going with the Fresh Prince kind of look. Either way they were both great this episode!

I would've DIYd and bought the triangle lights to go with it. The DIY cart is so creative and unique. 😍😍😍 Anyone can buy that other cart at Ikea. I did love those irridescent glasses though.

He's gonna pick the buy, (and he did) but I'm team diy for sure! There's a lot more space and party friendly. I love the clear tubes too. That design is more customizable to me. And I love the lights.

This time I’d make a mix with both projects. I would choose the DIY furniture (I loved it!!!), but with that thing that Alexandra bought for the wall, it is totally different! So, one piece from each project and it would be perfect ❤️ Congratulations!!! 👌🏼

Team DIY! It was more cohesive in its design, while the buy really relied on the gimmick of the lights. Though the lights were cool! 🙂

I agree the utility cart is pretty versatile, but if we are focusing on the cart Dani is the obvious victor. Her cart was beautiful and completely custom for the same price. I’m team DIY for this one 💜 It’s the definition of chillin out maxin relaxin all cool 🤩

I would definitely choose the DIY. I love that it is unique and you can never see anyone with it. Love the acrylic and black look. The lights brightened it all up.

When I saw Dani's I was loving those lit-up pipes and Fresh Prince, Saved By the Bell vibes shapes and thought no way the buy would top it. But Alexandra's light-up mirror things and bar cart accessories are so good for client's vibe too! This was a close tie for me! P.S. Fresh Prince is definitely worth watching if even for the opening credits alone! I. Pulled. Up to the house about 7 or 8...

wow i'm watching this a year later and nope, I would've gone DIY and bought the lights afterwards. Dani's piece is so unique it lasts the test of time, but alexandras is very dated now.
