That second one looks great, but I wish it had a guard-rail on the middle level.

At home depot they have pipe insulation tubes that could go around the edges and stick to it

Perfect timing man! I was just looking for a new cart for my new place! As noted this is more for a few common bottles and for specific things when doing Tiki Night or Rye Night, etc. Just bought a 1st set of shelves for...some of it.

I´ve got the second one (wood/black metal) about half a year ago as it fit well in my living room from a space & style perspective. I have received quite a lot of compliments as it really looks incredible stacked with nice bottles, carafes, glassware. From up close when bright, of course you can see the cheap wood laminate a bit, but this hasn´t bothered me. I already ran out of space - so it´s spirits only. Had to get a separate wine rack. The removable top is a nice gimmick, but you will never use it - believe me.

I have half my bottles filling up my pantry and the other half sitting on the floor next to it .... I may need something like this!

i've got the 2nd one and got around 12 bottles on the top rack. have to say that it doesn't sag much and i have it around 10 months now. using the bottom rack as glass storage space and it works like a charm!

I have something similar to option one that i have been using for over a decade. It is very useful and holds a ton of booze. Great video, thank you.

I use a Amazonbasic 3 tier chrome metal shelf. Was only 40 bucks and I find it works great as a cheaper option.

I have the second cart, but I got mine from Ashley Furniture. I currently have 15 bottles on the bottom level, and there is zero bowing. I just restocked, so most of my bottles are full or close to.

i've got the 2nd one too! can confirm that it doesn't bow much with many full bottles, even on the top rack.

Hmm, my stuff would probably flop off the sides of that second one. I guess it depends on how much you move it around. In the end I have too many bottles that I want to keep in one easy to mange place and went with some IKEA galvanised steel wire shelves that you can stack another one on top of. They're in the Omar range. Of course because they are bent steel around the edges and slightly raised in the middle I've used like a smart food tray to make sure the bottles don't fall which has worked well. Basically what I'm trying to say is that unless you want to spend over £500 or get a custom made shelf unit, there aren't actually many choices out there for a sturdy and reliable as well as affordable bar rack thing

I've never been a fan of bar carts they have a 70s feel that I don't like. I'm more a fan of liquor cabinets, but that's due to my grandmother having a nice little corner liquor cabinet that I have fond memories of from my childhood since I really liked the way it looked. I've got my own cabinet now but I'm always on the look out for one that fits the design of the one my grandmother had.

Hmm... maybe ive been watching too much project farm but id expect at least some kind of drill(press) and at least some kind of test involving weghts. And then compare the test results of the bar carts on bar charts(pun intended)

we can do that for future videos, but this wasn't a comparisson between the two. It was more of just a look at two of the best selling options out there. But we did put quite a few bottles on both and they both seemed sturdy with the weight of the full bottles

Boston Globe is constantly hounding me about a Sipsmith's bar cart competition - but have neither the bottle nor the cart. Looks like it could be an easy win for Leandro. I had looked at these wood laminate carts, but I feel like they'd fall apart so so fast if you start mixing drinks. I kept looking, and once I got into the higher priced carts, it just became a better play (and more fun) to just get a self-standing bar.
