Hello on todays videos we will be reviewing the Tudor black bay chrono and I will be giving you three reasons to pick this up over the Rolex panda daytona.

I owned the Tudor Chrono for a year...but not anymore...so I'll say this... it's very pretty... but its top heavy, bulky and too thick. Ultimately uncomfortable, especially on the bracelet. So much so, that I couldnt wait to take it off when getting home after work. Also the B01 movement is not a pleasure to wind and action. Winding it feels like sandpaper. Not as crisp as the In-House Tudors. So I'd take the Daytona over this any day of the week (not that I could get one) PS: just a subjective conclusion of course...

I agree about the movement it was the hardest one to wind it almost felt like you weren't supposed to wind it or something

That rubber strap makes it. Got me thinking about throwing a black strap on it now.

It definitely makes the watch wear a little better and a little smaller so go for it!

I just put mine on an Artem strap with deployment clasp. Killer combo. Highly recommended. Not a fan of the Daytona myself. It's too svelte for my tastes.

Had a chat with an AD before. Normally their "waitlist" is just to appease you during that time. They don't really have the watch or allocation for the watch yet. You will really get the watch if they ask you to put in a deposit. Else the "waitlist" really does not mean anything.

I have no need for a chrono...yet I am drawn to them. I love this look and I think the black one too is stunning. I'd pick it over the Daytona because I can't buy a watch more than my car lol

I've only been inside Ben Bridge Timeworks a few times, but I haven't been impressed. A couple of years ago I went there to see their Tudor watches. They didn't have much available and told me they had no control of what Tudor sends them. I ended up going over to the Longines Boutique and purchased a Zulu Time, which I love. A few subsequent visits have also left me unimpressed. 🤙🏼

The Zulu is a great watch nice choice. Unfortunately the longines boutique closed so I'm not sure where you can get one now?

@@HawaiianHorology Yes, I heard they had closed. With Longines you get a lot for your money. Plus they have a great history. I believe their production records go back to their early days.

Just an FYI the daytona is really a 38 mm and not a 40 as they list. Feels very tiny on my 7.5” wrist. I’m gonna switch to a speedmaster chrono or the pink black bay chrono which will both fit me better.

DO NOT buy this over a Rolex Daytona. Snowflake hands on a chronograph completely ruins the chronograph.

@@anton0529if we're talking practicality, why are you downgrading your timekeeping to a mechanical or automatic watch in the first place? So impractical 😂. Tell the time off your phone or get yourself a solar Casio gshock quartz with atomic time keeping. More indestructible and more accurate than any Daytona. Since you know, we're talking practicality here 😂.
