Yeah; you call that number and you get a travel agency, though. You try to email them on their website and your email message fails, every time. So...sketchy.

thanks, Wayne for this informative video. one question, why did you go to the service to get the License key? shouldn't be provided with the map purchase?

The map company will not give you the license key at the time of purchase. It's part of their procedure. Don't ask me why. I'm just glad the map updated

Thanks for the video. I am about to do the same for my MB S350. Just two question. Is there only one update per year? Or do you have to purchase an update several times a year?

One update whenever an update comes out. The update is usually good for a few years before another update comes out.

A good way to find out is if you call the vendor selling the map

To tell you the truth, I don't really used the navigation on my car. It was at a members request how to update it.

I ordered mine and never received it but I got a confirmation number and email. I assumed it would come automatically after the order so I’m thinking I got scammed.

It's a 2 part step. You must call the tech support for the 2nd step

(1) I purchased download (2) I got downloaded (3) Who do I call for License Key when I install it? Name , number etc?

You call during the I install. At some point it ask for a key, Only customer service has that key. You do it live and make sure you do it during business hours. Whoever you purchase it from, that's who you call
