I don’t understand how someone can tear a bike down to install new parts and NOT clean the bike first. First thing I do on every used bike I buy is strip it down and literally spend several days cleaning EVERYTHING on the bike before reassembly. Starting with a clean bike is like having a clean slate. Also makes it easy to spot any potential leaks on the motorcycle.

why do so many of you guys buy a crotch rocket and not ride it the way it's supposed to be ridden? I mean you buy it and you lock your arms and basically "lion king" it. if you tucked more and rode it that way it would be a more comfortable ride. your arms won't be nearly as tired. your wrists won't hurt. if you wanna ride it upright like that, install modded handlebars or get a different bike.
