Buying an abandoned CB7 Honda Accord!

Today we take a look at our editor Nates 1993 Honda Accord SE. Nate got this for free from his neighbour where it sat in the driveway for a couple years abandoned. After patching some fuel lines, charging the battery and a few other small things she fired right up! These older accords will run forever and give you a great street build platform and plenty of engine swap options. Some might say they are the best 90's car you can buy. We are planning on throwing in a H22A4 engine from a 5th gen prelude. This will almost double this light little cars horsepower and provide the fun factor of having V-TEC. Stay tuned for future builds on this car and an engine and transmission swap!

That’s actually the most American Honda to probably exist lol it was made for the American market produced in the first Honda factory in Ohio I think. They sent a couple to Japan still left hand drive and they love them here.

@@torontogrove5396 It is in Japan's Sayama Factory, but almost every car here was built in Ohio or Canada. Depending on what color your car was painted initially could give you a big hint. If made in that factory, I believe it should have a "C" in the Vin for where the factory-built code is, but most have an "N." I hope this helps if someone lied to you or you got a genuine Japanese spec.

I had a 91 - seattle silver but with maroon cloth seats. It has the silly automatic seat belts that would only do half the job. You had to do the lap belt by hand. I drove it from 93 until 98 and seemingly every gasket in the car was leaking. The torque converter went out while I was in the mountains and I had enough momentum to make it into town and get a tow.
