Buying an Apartment in Nairobi!! || Life in Kenya

We drove from Meru to Nairobi to start the hunt for the perfect apartment! The first complex we looked at in Ruaka was amazing! We are excited to have a place of our own in Nairobi and are excited to share it with you guys, too. We plan to airbnb and make it an amazing place to stay when you’re in the city.

What I love the most about this is the fact that your children are well rounded; they have enjoyed both mom and dad’s countries of origin and have seen the pros and cons of both. All around just beautiful, it’s been a goal of mine to travel to Congo with my babies every year and they have been able to do that more often now but I want more of those for longer period times so it’s not just a “vacation” for them. Well done mom and dad.

Hey my favorites, I lived in C13 in those apartments last December through January for six weeks. The security is on another level, nobody minds another’s business in Runda view apartments. Say hi to Martha the caretaker.

I've been watching you family when you guys moved from us back to kenya meru n building yr house it's so nice n than you's started doing piggry farming n rabbits n than eventually into coffee n also donating books to the school it's so amazing what you family are doing n just now i saw you guys going to shop for apartments to buy in Nairobi which is so good n i like the one you guys are looking at it right now it's nice with big space. Have they completed the construction close to Gateway mall? The only reason I dislike the area around Gateway mall is that it's an industrial area, and also more dusty than Kiambu areas, hence, not convenient for family living and for me pollution is always a concern.
