I had an E39 540i befor the E46 and damn what a car. When that M62 was working it was great. But i battled timing chain guides, vanos knock and heaps of leaks. They even have oil passages through the engines mounts. Wild. These things were built to leak

Bro my e90 just recently failed the hood latches I had to remove the fender liner thank God the cable was still attached. Yanked the living crap outa the cable and got it to open. Threw our the latches and installed hood Pins 😅
