Fantastic yard. I love how it has actual owners and not a large corporation with a ton of stockholders. At least you know when talking to someone at the yard, it’s a short walk to the decision makers. I am sure that the owner that wanted theirs extended the one meter got a pretty quick response as to if it was feasible and the yes they would do it.

I used to work on the old 'Midnight Saga', a 188' Camenga that lived in Monaco. The Boss bought 'Midnight Saga II' , a little 26m Moonen to keep at the bottom of his garden in Norway. It's still one of my favourite yachts around. A chum, Lars Modin, the designer of the Delta 88, lived on a Moonen 80 in Antibes too.

Thanks David, I've liked all of your Moonen video they have shown themselves to be innovative in naval engineering, with safety and comfort of owners, guest and crew very much in mind. With a stylish exterior and interior, the décor is tasteful and restful. In short each yacht is not only a masterclass of building it is a masterpiece of yacht that fits the owners needs and wants. The amount of customization and attention to detail paired with a willingness to go the extra mile and great craftsmanship is simply amazing! Really like some of the designs shown here like the one of "Sofia" and the scandinavian one.... maybe combine them and throw some Sinot design touches in the mix... I can totally see how that could work out...

When I'm ready to buy a boat I will come to you. My preference is a steel hull, custom build and interior design.

A great video! Being able to say "we'll be ready for the next stage by February 2024" is still more accurate than any road construction project. I love seeing the detail the _people_ create, even if it's not a design that I would particularly choose. (Of course, people would probably say my artistic choices are 'too vanilla.' 😆) Looking forward to your next video!

Great video...not so sure about that dry sanding w/o a respirator, but to each their own. lol Perhaps they have some vacuum/purification system we didn't see. (Referring to the sanding of the textured panels.)

Hi Mr. Daid Seal, I'm new to the channel, and have been looking through many of your video's and learning about many of the shipyards out there, I wold like to complement you for your great and informative viewings that you have been posting great job and keep up the great work that you do, I have a few questions with this particular shipyard Moonen, through your video I had learned that they use to produce an 84' yacht and a ninety'esh yacht would they produce an 84' foot yacht again if someone were to be interested again? and two would you be viewing the long history of the shipyard of Astondoa in Spain one day? once again looking forward to your next reportage and keep up the great work that you and your team do thx

I love Sofia. I thought Sofia was the ine youmhad shown in your previous video because that over had Sofia 'stretched' so he coukd load a submarine on it. Also, the chef aboard Sofia was on KZfaq for a while. His channel hasn't posted in several months though. But unless you are Nina, Brennan, Dean or Abbey, it is very hard to get traction as a chef on a yacht for KZfaq.

Honestly it looks no different than a Benetti. Nothing really stands out differently than any other yacht design.
