I’ve got an 18 camaro ss with the 8 speed. Mine had that trans shudder from the torque converter real bad when the active fuel kicked in going down to 4 cylinder mode. Mild in 8 cylinder mode. Had the fluid flush/change and no issues. Got just over 1,000 miles on the fluid and still good
