It will only snap crackle and pop when it’s in manual mode the decelerating. Do you have it in drive and let off it won’t do it. Technically it’s not a backfire backfire goes up through the carburetor which it doesn’t have.

Nice set up...but not actually straight pipe. It's a cat back system. Straight pipe is straight from the engine to bumper (no cats). Still sounds good though.
