@@lucienlacourciere it's a stage 2 not a stage 3 lol but that just means it has the potential to be an 800+hp car rather than being limited to about 700-750 because of the roush blower

As much as a turbo setup is super sick, I think for this one it should be supercharged! That signature 5.0 sound with that supercharged whine is seriously one of the best sounding beasts out there. Even N/A that monster sounds NUTS.

i’ve been telling EVERYONE the coyote s197s are on top. they are an overall blast of a car and can make 500 wheel n/a and still putt around town. so happy you got a s197 gavin! definitely centrifugal supercharger is the way to go with these

I think I would go supercharger on the roush. I’m usually a turbo fan but idk. Something about the supercharger on the roush just sounds right. The whine would really complement that exhaust. Beautiful car! I’m excited to see your tasteful mods in action on this one!

There was a mustang EXACTLY like that in a magazine when I was a kid at bag and save. Asked my dad to get it and I had that magazine for 7 years. Reading that is what got me into cars I read it front to back, back to front. Get a new Whipple kit there’s a 2020 5.0 Whipple where I live and he messes everyone up at the 1/8th mile track.

On an s197 I would highly recommend lower control arms and either an upgraded panhard bar or a Watts link rear end to help make that straight axel more predictable for the winner

Thats because that car isnt from the era when people didnt idolize having shitty trombone ass(looking at you Corsa and gavin) straight pipes and shit. Back when these were new people put good sounding exhaust that were still reasonably loud and sounded good and that actually made more power id bet

Rousch 2.3 "under powered".. yet will make enuff jam, with a pulley swap to blow up the motor.. um well over 700 whp.. and they pull like crazy down low.. I love 2.3 tvs yotes.. Its my fav combo for a street car.. Makes tons of jam down low without having to rev the nuts out of the car..

One day you might get a really rare one, such as any Saleen S281's!! Roush's are like hellcats, not that common but everyone has seen one. But a Saleen is legit harder to find.

For the wheels get some 20” GT350R Replicas and powder coat them in a similar white to match the stripes put the Roush center caps in them that would set aesthetic look of the car off.

Typically I’d say supercharger but after the setup you got on hank I’m leaning more towards twin turbos. That is a beautiful damn car. Would love to win that monster. That paint is gorgeous and the exhaust note is absolutely perfect. Hell of a next giveaway car brother hell yea

As i agree the Roush blower is one of my least favorites, i still choose it to keep the car matching. Being a rare car id love to see it stay a roush car and not chopped up with a turbo or a different brand. Been wanting a s197 for awhile now, this one looks real nice 👌

I know turbos have more potential, but for me a twin screw supercharger and mustang goes hand in hand. Whipple, KB, VMP whatever. That whine paired with that exhaust note just does something to a man 😂

Hey Gavin, I suggest adding a Roush Supercharger. Besides I’m sure Superchargers have gotten better. Keep what it is. No turbo, use Daniels Mustang for that.

You may possibly get the most bang for buck power with a pro-charger. The RPM that a coyote can pull would make great use of it.

Roush Stage 2 S197❤❤❤ as a Mustang fanboi i super approve, you should leave it stock honestly but if i had to choose...a SC to bring it to about 750whp wont hurt, TT S197's make more power obviously but are pretty unpredictable with the solid rear...hopefully the winner knows how to handle a Stang

I know Hank is a full size truck only making around 700HP, but it made a 1:45 lap time.. The stock Roush just put down a 1:44 flat… It’s going to be nasty when she gets forced induction. Also, I noticed Poe’s car is still at the house even though he’s back in Louisiana… Does that mean what I think it does?? PoeBoy’s is moving to GA!? Lord I hope soooo 😂

The Roush Supercharger is fine it's just Roush is conservative because they gave a 3 year warranty. You can have a dyno tune and reclaim what Roush left on the table

I've got an s197 Roush, went with a VMP Odin Kit for a supercharger to keep it conservative. Go crazy and Godzilla swap it! lol if I had the funds that's what I'd do! hahaha

I think you should take the money and spend it all in tires breaks and suspension and really see how fast you can get it to turn maybe some areo and some apex wheels
