Thanks to all of you we have officially reached a monthly income amount on KZfaq to do our first ever car build/ large project!! 3 months ago I ordered this 2024 Ford F-150 with intents on it having over 700 horsepower. Do we pull the trigger and have a Lamborghini destroying truck? Or do we buy something like a Viper? Lets us know what you think so we can pull the trigger soon! And thanks to all of you for your continued support!!!

Go for the Ford F-150! Sport trucks need to make a return & for the money AND a warranty to boot you just can't beat a Ford F-150 XL regular cab short box "sleeper" truck! With a Dodge Viper V10 or the Ford GT, obviously folks already know they're a fast car. Also with a fullsize pickup truck there's that awesome 6 foot bed for hauling stuff & with a 5.0 liter Coyote V8 under the hood, you could also tow a nice amount with that F-150, can't haul/tow with a supercar, but with a "sleeper" pickup truck, you could beat some supercars at their own game!

We just bought a flashy HPR Tremor Maverick for my wife and in the next couple years im gonna have to towing a lil more than it can handle. We still rock a 96 Bronco for that but she aint getting any younger. Speaking of being younger, in my youth i live in a van at Lake Ozark Missouri. The campground owner had a pretty basic 95 F250 with a 5.8 and PAXTON SUPERCHARGER. It was the coolest sleeper truck than could tow anything around the park. Killer truck. I say go for it guys and keep it full sleeper even slap on construction company magnet and some orange reflectors on the tailgate!

You are off your rocker that's a single cab hahahaha but the idea I like. Going between Gen 1 SVT and the 5.0 as we are in the north aluminum is nice!

40k with taxes out the door and $13,000 for the supercharger installed no tires no wheels , no lowering so how is it under 50k ????

I just spoke with HP Tuners and they say no tune in sight. Also, Whipple says, Tune tune yet for the 2024 F150, maybe in several months.@@PerformanceOnWheels

I’d like to see a 2024 Rattler clone with the base Whipple package. Grabby performance tires for summer and all-terrain 33s for winter. Love that I am next door to Apple Valley Ford in Bloomington.

How do you plan to supercharge a 2024? The 2024 F150’s have an encrypted PCM, just like the 2021 trucks had when they were released, but this is a new, and higher level, encryption. It took the industry more than two years to “crack” the encryption on 2021 trucks. So, I wouldn’t expect tuning to be available for your 2024 truck any time soon. Then add in a gasoline regenerative filter and I love to see you offer a supercharged option. Put me on your list!

I called and asked, they said it should be available as early as, end of Q1 or early Q2. Waiting on my 2024 RCSB 4x4 with a Whipple from Town & Country Ford in Alabama. Truck is being built now

Are you able to get a factory Whipple supercharger installed on a crew cab truck through the dealership and still keep the warranty? Or can you just have the supercharger installed on the single cab pickups that are special order?

Yes you can! You can do it on any truck or mustang with a 5.0

@@dougn6465 If you are building a truck/car to go fast you are not really worried about warranty. If he is, then he only has one option and that is to go with the Ford supercharger that comes with 3 year warranty, but that supercharger gets heat soaked easily so not many are running those for that reason.

@@lIlIllll1 have you looked at list of the top 10 and top 20 of the fastest f150 in the 1/4? Several spots are held by whipple. Yes, turbos hold more spots for all out race cars but whipple are on some the fastest trucks in nation. There is only .5-1second variance of 1/4 miles times from the top-bottom of those list
