Having exchanged a phone to get the Pixel 7 Pro I've found myself not entirely happy with it and unfortunately I think I've made a mistake buying it. I'm not saying the Pixel 7 Pro is a bad phone however...

Dan, you probably should have gotten a pixel 7, everything seems perfect to me on it. Not one Hiccup so far, I don't understand your take on the rest of the phone, I have used most of the flagships out now, the iphone 14 pro is not up to the 7 on cameras and forget about the galaxy I don't like the UI. Of all the phones I have used over the years, the pixel 7 seems to be perfect for me.

The standard Pixel 7 is definitely more for me you're right. I still have a 6 Pro for now but I think at some point next year I'll grab the standard 7 or maybe the 7a. Just got a Galaxy Fold 4. One UI isn't great of course but the phone is pretty decent. Thanks Sam. Glad you like the Pixel 7 a lot.

Great point about the telephoto. A lot of people used the telephoto for portrait mode. I can see how you would be dissatisfied. I think you made the right decision. For some reason on the six I was so enamored with the main sensor that I started just being that annoying photographer that would be in your personal space. The good news is these products are so good that we can go for our preferences and use case. Thanks for your thoughts.

I made big mistake buying pixel 6 pro/ utter waste of my money . Problems and more problems will buy iPhones in future.

Funnily enough I was just updating my Pixel 6 Pro. Tbh I don't think it's a case of dismissing Android phones in general. The 6 Pro with first generation Tensor definitely had its issues. Pixel 8 Pro is very good though and with the 9 and 10 series most of these issues should be entirely fixed leaving us with some of the best devices out there. If I were to buy a Pro level device right now though I'd be picking up the OnePlus 12 tbh.

@@GroundedTech I cannot see myself ever buying a phone with a folding screen. I fear wear and tear and think it is a gimmick which will be short lived. That is my prediction

It's surprising how nice it is to use in some situations. I think a Flip 4 would change your mind on that.
