You are correct, I went with a Tesla purchase from Tesla because of the warranty. It was slightly more, but I have had to have things done and it’s great not having to come out of pocket. I love my Model X, which is also my first Tesla, my first EV etc.

I’m trying to debate if I should go new RWD ( base model ) Model 3, or should I go used Performance Model 3. Would LOVE to have the Performance model but would also love to not have to pay that New Performance model price. Not the Highland but a 22 or 23 model.

Just to be clear, the deposit fee (not transportation) is NOT added to the price of the vehicle during delivery? Is that a standalone $500 you’re paying just to be able to purchase the vehicle?
