One advice to everyone before buying AC. Try searching for the nearest service center of the AC brand you are looking to buy and see the reviews there. I was planning to buy another AC for our house from Daikins, but when I searched for daikins service centre near my area, reviews la yellarum daikin'a kazhuvi oothirukaanga.

Midea is the manufacturer for many leading air conditioner brands like, Carrier, Voltas, Bluestar, Videocon and etc. TCL is the manufacturer for Whirlpool, Vestatar and some Voltas models and etc. Matsuhita electronics manufacturer of Sanyo, Panasonic and etc. Fujitsu is the manufacturer of O General.

I am using VOLTAS 1.5 ton 5-star AC purchased on 2013. never did any service for 10 years except clean filter. After that cooling get reduced. AC man cleaned the indoor unit fully and fixed. After that every year 1 time Gas filling work last year and this year (2 times) Works nice... 12 years completed.

I like your videos. Regarding Carrier, one of my friend told me that they have only third party manufacturers in India. I have a question. I use a 1.5 T Daikin split AC in my hall wherein there is a doorless Kitchen. But I use the AC only for two to four hours in a day depending on hotter conditions outside. Daikin works well in these conditions. In the closed rooms, like bedrooms, what you are suggest is right. Am I right?

5 Years Warranty on PCB that you have mentioned for Carrier AC's is applicable only if 2 Mandatory paid service is done every year after first year. Theres is no clarity as to how much that service costs.

AC mechanics have the worst ethics. 2009 la carrier AC vanginom. 2nd service nu sollitu vanthanga. End of 1 year warranty. I said everything is fine and not to touch AC. Illa sir general maintenance dan nu ODU open pannanga. Adhukulla oruthan AMC pathi pesinan. Nanga edhuvum venam nu sonnom. Avan signal kodukka Mela irukuravan valve ah light ah loose panni vittutan. Visiting card koduthutu thevai na koopidunga. Within 3 months la gas gaali. Ennoda friend ah kooptu check panna flaring nut ah loose pannitu poi irukan. Ippo varaikum oduthu. One time check mattum dan pannen. Work ah correct ah panna oru problem um varathu. Just water wash and filter cleaning mattum dan thevai. 14 years ah oditu irukku. Indoor mattum dan change pannen due to PCB issue

I am using LG for 10 years... touch wood working fine till now... did service only 2 times in 10 years... mostly for cleaning and filling gas... when buying "after sales service" is very important point to consider...LG is good for after sales service also..

Panasonic is one of the most underrated brand...It's one of the the best in Japan. I believe in Japanese engineering and design aspects. I'm using Panasonic 1.5 ton AC with AI app support, bought on 2021. It's been 2 years and it always works like a charm. Regular service once in 6 months, and self service once in 2 months. Strongly recommended.

can also think about Godrej inverter AC(1 or 1.5 ton) comes with 100% copper,invertor ac,warrenty for 5 yr on board and 10 yr compressor with 1 ton(3 star) comming around 30K. Since indian product the spares wont be expensive also most expensive part is board and compressor is covered in warrenty.. have a look as budget friendly.

Godrej (3star non inverter) is having good cooling capacity (5200w) at reasonable price. Power consumption is about 5 units when used for 8 hours continuously during night time (when setted at 27 degrees along with sleep mode). Feeling chillness to a comfortable level throughout night with quick cooling ..Im using for the past 1 month and writing this.

domestic (especially resident) LG, Daikin, Voltas, Blue star, Hitachi just biy it for commercial (shop(retail), restaurant) carrier, Mitsubishi, general, blue star, Hitachi, voltas.

I own Hitachi AC and Carrier at home. And i feel both are best. If someone is asking me a suggestion, i would definitely suggest Hitachi for no budget constrains and Carrier if they are on a budget.

What is the difference between a Croma AC and Voltas AC? They are both TATA products and I think they are both manufactured at the same Voltas plant in Gujarat. Similarly Carrier and Midea AC's are both owned by Carrier and are manufactured in the same plant only. So I think Croma and Midea AC's are cheaper versions of Voltas and Carrier AC's but with the same quality.

I use Godrej AC 1.5 and 2 ton basic model for ten years. No big issues. Basic model is always good for low cost maintenance. High technology means high means high maintenance cost. After the warrantry period any AC mechanic can service these kind of basic model AC sets.

I used LG (max life 3 to 5 years only, cooling okay only), Carrier (worst blower air flow in IDU, easily clogged by dust so stay away) but Panasonic is far more superior in cooling & air flow, brings down the room temperature within few minutes even in top floor. Just try it.

Bought SHARP INVERTER AC 1.5 ton ( there was only one dealer in my city at that time ) in 2014 for ₹50000.. I was really surprised to see that it has been working flawlessly for last 9 yrs.. In summers, minimum 10 hrs of usage.. Japanese are OGs when it comes to ACs Sad to see that this company is now not active in India !

@@Althafsmart20 I have both inverter and non inverter O General Acs. Both are solid machines. Only difference in non inverter is that you can notice the current fluctuation in home lights when the compressor turned on. Inverter model will not have that fluctuation.

Way to go, Syed !! You are amazing.. .. I recommend LG 1st. Am using 1.5 ton 2* star AC from 2009.. still no complaint. AC filling done 2times only. N bought Dual inverter type AC last year for another room. Cooling is really good so far. . After sales & Service response is too good in LG. 2nd choice as you said, can be Carrier. For Cheaper AC you can buy goodrej too.

TV na Sony. Washing Machine na whirlpool. Fridge na whirlpool or samsung. Gas Stove na Butterfly. Water heater na V Gaurd. Fan na oru kalathula kaithan, now V Gaurd or Havels. Moniter na Acer. Both window or split a/c we are using Hitachi. It is superb. AMC or initial 1 year free service is also good. One of which one of our window a/c is working since 1999 still full cooling. Split alone we filled gas twice in 10 years. I don’t know why you never referred HITACHI. Share your views please.

One more thing to consider. Is your room in ground floor or first floor(assuming the house has first floor floor only 9:18 ) r. If it’s in first floor then one needs to go for higher ton AC.

@@RajeshKumar-uq7yz in general the heat doesn’t dissipate if you are on first floor. So if for the room size 1.5 ton is recommended better to go for 2 ton. It really depends on your room size 2. My room size was on the upper limit for 1.5 ton. I got 1.5 but takes lot of time to cool during summer. The service guy told me the reason as to why it takes time to cool.

Go for higher capacity if room has…. • Has big or many glass windows that can trap heat. • Is on the top floor, making it hotter due to sun exposure from top. • Has many electronic devices like PCs, TVs, etc. that produce heat. • Has a wall facing south or west exposed to sunlight.

Whirlpool Fully Automatic Top Load 360 Washing Machine வாங்கினேன். Very Worst Experience. சத்தமும் மிக அதிகம். சரியாக 6 மாதத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை Water Tub தண்ணீர் உள்ளே வராது. Yellow Color இருக்கும் Switch மாற்ற வேண்டும். விலை 2,500/- மேல் இருக்கும். Service Engineer வரும் வரை கையால் துணிகளை துவைத்துக்கொண்டு காத்திருக்க வேண்டும். அது கொரோனா காலம் வேறு. Whirlpool Service பல்லை காட்டி விட்டது. இரண்டு வருடம் கைகளால்தான் துணிகளை துவைக்கப்பட்டது. மிகவும் மரண கொடுமை. புத்தம் புதிதாக இருந்த Whirlpool தலைமுழுகிவிட்டு LG Topload வாங்கினேன். விலை 20,000/- மிகவும் அற்புதமாக இருக்கிறது. அதே சமயத்தில் Silent ஆக வேலை செய்கிறது. Whirlpool கசப்பான அனுபவத்தால் அந்த Brand பக்கம் போகவே பிடிக்கவில்லை.

I bought Whirlpool 0.8 ton 3 star inverter split ac. For 18,000 in Flipkart. I would say one of the best buy I've done in a while. Gas type is R410A not R32, AC is working flawlessly. Am using this AC for roughly about 5 months in a year. Using it for more than 3 years. 3+ years still going strong.

My Blue star non inverter had pcb failure after 1 year. Lot of problem in the 7 years of usage. Have voltas inverter as well, using it for last 4 years, still no problem, it has 5 year comprehensive warranty(including pcb) and 10 year motor warranty. I would suggest to consider the warranty and service availability in the locality also.

LG has never failed me, workhorse! Bluestar has been miserable in my experience. Of course, Daikin and General are the best, but a bit expensive.

Daikin is best , little costly than other brands but quality is best in market, non inverter AC is available still in this brand. Inverter AC maintenance costs is very high, iam using Daikin for past 6 years no issues.
