I was scrolling the comments specifically to see if anyone brought this up. I'm also severely allergic to soy (it's not an uncommon allergy at all so I'm surprised more people haven't spoken up here) and although I'm certain this entire "prank" was scripted, it is a dangerously irresponsible idea to be putting out there. Tricking someone into eating something different from what they thought isn't a fun prank, it can be deadly if the person has an allergy.

... "In some way" is putting it mildly. I was vegan for about a year and a half, and I could not tolerate vegan cheese. I tried like 4 different brands people swore on and they're all disgusting. They smell horrible, the consistency is awful and the taste is just... no. Grated vegan cheese for pizza or grilled cheese sandwiches is great though.

@@lavishlyvice I'm right there with you, I'm only vegetarian with vegan family members, and the sole reason for that is cheese. Outside of a few good mock fetas and cream cheeses, a lot of vegan cheese is absolutely horrible. They also tend to have terrible melting qualities, so they're not great for pizzas or stuff like that. That being said, I haven't eaten any vegan cheese in over a year, maybe things have improved?

I personally love it for grilled cheese. Maybe they have improved, only way to find out is to buy and try it out. 👀

1:11 I went to the Paris Catacombs once, I layed down in one of the empty graveholes/slots (don't know what to call it) and pretended to be a rising mummy while my mom took pictures. I'll happily admit this was a simple and shitty joke but both me, my mom, and at least 5 other visitors found it amusing. This means that by spending less than 30 seconds on an improvised idea in a catacomb, I'm pretty confident that I made more people laugh/entertained than this Buzzfeed video did.
