"Naebor" is short for "Nae bother" as in no bother. Basically means no problem. "Naebor hen" is very widely used in Scotland at least where i'm from. "Hen" being the secretary "Susan". Hen is used because she is a female just like the animal. "Neighbor hen" doesn't make sense when you read the rest of the sentence.
