Lol oz doesn't really have it's own cuisine, all I can think of is sausage sizzle and avo on toast... Places like Aus and UK eat their own versions of other countries cuisines more than they eat their own cuisines.

Kebab means "meat that is cooked on fire or in a oven". Beside that.. neither people in germany nor people in the middle east say lets eat kebab. It's always "something something" kebab.

I love falafel however not really a kebab shop order and if the falafel isn't straight from the fryer forget it, its drier than the U.S.A. popeyes biscuit. I give it a 5 for trying something unique at a kebab shop.

Probably she meant the kind of Döner kebab with that which was invented in Berlin by turkish immigrants (made at a rotisserie, served in flatbread, etc). So for this kind of kebab it's true to say it's turkish and german. It's a great example of how the contact and exchange between two countries /cultures can create great things. Of course there are a lot of different kinds of kebab in the world. So, there are many food items that are claimed by different countries and cultures to be their own. But the most important thing is that we all get tasty food, isn't it? 😁
