German here. Greggs would do very well in Germany, absolutely no doubt. Also I'm a passionate and unrepentant meat eater, but I tried the vegan sausage rolls and I could happily eat those all day and never miss the meat at all. It's dark magic!

As a Swiss citizen who lived in the UK for quiet sometime, I did indeed enjoy Gregg’s very much, their food is freshly baked right in front of you and is cheap as hell. One of my favorites was the cheese and onions pastry, or the vegetables ones, with one of those and their meal deal (1 drink and crisps) I was set for the day. No wonder is so popular

Btw the thing that makes greggs amazing is the price and convenience like your so freezing cold at a train station and want something warm and there’s a greggs and you get a pastry and a cake and it warms your soul and just gives you that feeling of home and happiness because the thing about greggs is that you can have it anywhere and it’ll give you just sheer joy and the feeling of home and that is why greggs is so amazing sorry just as a northerner greggs is a part of our culture and is just a thing that I’m so passionate about
