Is there a way for this to work without running it with AA batteries? I just purchased this a week ago and tbh it runs through the batteries VERY QUICKLY(practically under an hour) and I’m trying to host podcast based interviews that will be around an hour.

Will I be able to record long length audio. I want to record my live DJ sets, will this device allow me to?

Yes, the Zoom PodTrak P4 can record long-length audio. It records directly to SD cards up to 1 TB, which should be more than enough for recording your live DJ sets. However, please note that the device can run up to 3 hours with just two AA batteries or a USB power supply. So, for longer sessions, you might need to consider an external power supply.

Hi there! The Zoom PodTrak P4 doesn’t have an official “Line Out” port, but you can use the headphone-in ports as a line-out to send audio to another source. I connect the Zoom P4 to the computer, but no sound from the headphones? I can hear my own voice, but there is no sound from the videos I open from youtube?

To hear sound from KZfaq videos, switch your computer's audio settings to headphones or speakers. Keep the Zoom P4 as the input device for recording your voice.

Do is work for video editing? i understand that it is at 44.1 and you would need 48 for video... Any advice?

Although we haven't tested it ourselves, I recently viewed a video and it appears feasible. If attempting, ensure you have secured the following, in addition to your Zoom PodTrak P4 and iPhone: 1. TRS to TRRS cable. 2. iPhone lightning adapter. 3. XLR microphone. Give it a shot!

There is an input on the side of the device that allow the use of taking phone calls and recording them for your podcast, just let all parties know that the call is being recorded!
