When that emotional side hits she get aggressive, she's a fighter she build up defensive walls all around her, that's the result when u feel alone/ hardly trust anyone. But I know she's an amazing human being, she want to help n inspire young kids who feel broken n betrayed just like her. Whenever she find herself n heal she's gonna be unstoppable🙏🏾❤ Anyway Jan being an athlete dont limit you from inspiring because everytime I see little Megan trip over those hurdles n go again I'm in awe. It gives me hope to go again. Not to mention Shelly defying the odds everytime she step on the track. But Follow your heart sweety because if you're no longer inlove with it, it makes no sense. What I got from the interview, is someone who is extremely frustrated, yet she is a very intuitive and intelligent, which many will not get because of her demeanor, this is one smart & honest young lady, who will be fine!!She is figuring out life in general & specifically who she is. Don't be surprised after all that's said & done, she re-enter track & field.

Shacarri knew exactly what she was doing and the trigger words to use to evoke a response from the public. She knew people would be outraged when she used words such as “Jamaica” and “homophobia” in the same sentence however, a pity she nuh know sey Jan wouldn’t get as much backlash from the Jamaican public like she expected because Jamaicans aren’t really moved by woman to woman relationships like they do with “lower-class” gay men. Also, shacarri spitefully outed her knowing that she is a private person smh.

I loved this! She’s not crazy she’s just filled with trauma. Needs some therapy sessions for a while to get her back on track. I know people can be evil and cruel so I’m not even going to bash that part. Other than that, Shacari was clearly using her fame to be vicious by calling her out like that about abuse and stealing smh

This is possibly true BUT life is tough and unforgiving. Many many many have been thru much worse. She needs those close to her to get together and get her help if she can't see it herself. I really really hate to see such unfortunate things, especially when or if it's beyond your control. It seems she was just unable to cope with the tough issues in life as she became an adult.

While I know she is not wanting to run any more I think she should consider mentoring kids in track & field. I was not aware or even consider of some of the discrimination athletes especially young athletes go through. This was a wonderful interview.

True Story: Sha'Carri dragged in Janeek Brown into the discussion, when she was asked why she hadn't raced all year before Duvall. And instead of Sha'Carri, just answering the question honestly, she just threw Janeek under bus, saying she was going through stuff, including a relationship. Sha'Carri added to it with that famous social media post, and that's when Janeek Went Off. Sha'Carri, should have just been a professional, instead of making excuses. Janeek, didn't look great either on her social media post when she responded with all the Bombaclat chat. However, Sha'carri started it.

I know someone personally who was real good at BB and they stopped because of the homophobia in the changing room. They were so talented .

She is not crazy. In my opinions she needs help with dealing with her emotions in a calm manner. She has been through a lot mentally fighting to be herself and trying to find herself in this world. I think a psychologist could help her navigate that. Shacarri def. Started a fire and took too long to try to out it. She is angry about everything and I think put it out there to sway the crowd for the track meet in her favour. Dat never work though sis cause the world black, green and gold all day. I hope they both find peace cause Shacarri need some help as well.

Isn't it a fact that our Jamaican may be ostracized by other Jamaicans, families may cut ties with her, she may even lose her life if revelation like this gets out . Even in these Western countries that are more liberal to these lifestyle a person has to be mentally prepared to come out of the 'closet'. That is like blackmail, malicious and vicious violation of privacy to bring to the public the engagement in this lifestyle without the consent of the other person. @@melisasimms2348 I hear you. I'm not sure if you are living in the States. But I'm also coming from a point of somebody who has been in USA for a very long time. I see an understand the positives and negatives in the black diaspora. Most of these kind of relationships can be the most toxic and apparently she was abusive to Richardson. I don't feel she was intentionally being malicious. Just an highly emotional young woman who is mentally all over the place. Richardson is also her own mess but she is on social media acting as if she is still in love with Janeek and she is even asking her fans to stay out of it. Same thing with some in the African American community where there is a lot of toxic and ignorant things been said. My point is to not always make it about we vs them especially as black people. At the end of the day, Janeek will be fine. It's not so bad when it's females comparing to males.
