I am 56 yrs old, and I remember as a child the Chinese all ways owned the supermarket. Downtown on orange street. They have two supermarkets one name John and Wong they always have business like restaurants, uptown they own the movie theaters, they own tastes Pattie’s on Princess they own the shops Where we would go and buy flour chicken back, and do on etc, etc, There was a saying black man start shop but Chinese keep it. We went to school together George’s high most Chinese, they also went to Val’s prep, campion college, Jamaica college, and more they were always there they are the one who start reggae music, Byron Lee and the dragon Aires.calypso They Indians were also there

People just want an issue because I just don't see the issue with his content and I don't think he's being condescending either. He's a Jamaican telling his Jamaican experiences in a comical way. Morewhile we too uptight about everything. Relax likkle man. Jeez.

Its people who are usually American and wanting to hate on non-blacks so falsely accuse him if making fun of black people as if thry cant tell his accent is authentic. They know he is Jamaican they just hate that he is because theyre racist. At the end of the day he isn't condescending Jamaicans because he is Jamaican. He is just making fun of diff types of people

How you as a decendabt ancestors fought for this island and now you are getting colonized by Chinese immigrants who come from China poor and become rich in your country. While you as a black person economically is om the bottom. You are being poor or push out of your own culture. Chines people donot even treat they own well. I don't think his accent matters to Jamaicans it's Tik Tok American influence that is making Jamaicans act like they care! Also what he saying about Chinese, Indians and even some Jews is true they are absolutely business minded in their culture they are raised like that no matter where they are in the world. I know this for a fact as someone who doesn't live in Jamaica and went to school with all these backgrounds. It's lawyer doctor and Engineer that their parents push relentlessly unless you go into business.

When the Chinese and the Indians leave and migrate to other countries they take it seriously they are looking to be financial stable and create generation wealth. They come with money from their original country to start the business they aren't borrowing money as an immigrant in Jamaica and in his case his father gave him the money to start his business and he had to pay it back! They don't play. The ones you see showing wealth are late in life second generation (the kids) or its the 3rd generation (the grandkids), it almost never the first generation they will live simple and cheap until the day they die. To them if they lived in a one or two bedroom until there kids are grown why waste money and buy a big house or fancy car when your old? They leave that for the kids.

@@rqubedrqubed1634 Lol, omg. I'm not surprised easily but this sure did. One of the things I took pride in as a Jamaican living in North America is our logical no nonsense, non "woke" nature, where we aren't like the black Americans or black Canadians where we were raised with hatred for other races (especially white). This was something about us that I thought would never change. Smh, so much for that. Jamaican youth becoming "liberal" lol, wow.
