Every player can learn from how CP3 gracefully handles the basketball. Speed and height changes, controlling the ball outside of his body, craftiness, and so much more. I had to dissect them under the #AttentionToDetail microscope.

I love how CP3 uses the screen! After the opponent is screened he’ll slow up for the opponent and force them to ride his back and start flailing his head back like he’s getting fouled and attempt to get a high percentage shot off. 🤣 that’s classic CP‼️

Οne of the things I always loved about CP was the fact that he knows how to navigate space prior to attacking. A lot of point guards just dribble up to the key and dish it. CP will get into areas where he gets a different view on the defense and he does this multiple times throughout the game. This drives a defense crazy because defenders are out of normal coached positions.
@zennihilator3724
@zennihilator3724 Жыл бұрын
Yup, CP3, Steve Nash and Curry probably the best ever at this. Keeping a live dribble while probing and snaking through the opponent half-court defense setup to find openings for layups, floaters, mid-range shots, lobs, cuts and kick outs to the 3pt line. Though Curry does it more from range and off-ball. Even by elite standards, most perimeter players offense laregly boils down to straight line drives to the basket taking advantage of speed, strength and athleticism, or just setting up 1 on 1 moves for a post up shot or a face up jumper, and then making the kick if someone is obviously open...
