Please dont put Jok and Jamal in the same sentence, Jamal is just another Gary Harris, solid G-League player. Imagine if Jordan instead of Pippen had Jamal who shoots 3 of 18 every other game (besides not playing any defence and having IQ75), he could just dream of 6 titles.

Do we only try these hard drills when we are already a consistent open 3pt shooter?

Loved the vid. Definitely had moments where I realized I could improve, but things I already do. Also made me think about defensive positioning as well.

The critical part is. He is very big and strong that can hold his position and protect the ball at all time. If you don't have that, you probably need to find another strategy.

I've learned so much from this! Thanks! I've recently transitioned from a pure shooter/shot creator/scorer to a more ball handler/facilitator in my local ball club just because I wanted to expand my game. My friends agreed on my transition. Now I'm definitely gonna apply this and your other content as well.

You didn’t talk about aerobic conditioning at all? I think it’s a common huge mistake to not run in zone2 for basketball. Iverson was even clocked at a 4minute and something second mile. Some of the best college/NBA players do 45min treadmill/bike/rower/elliptical at 65-74% bpm every other day on top of their normal training. Jordan has even said aerobic conditioning is important.

I appreciate this video heavily. As an undersized player myself I like to go back and watch JB’s game because he almost seems unstoppable at times despite his height and always seems to make the right read. You’re doing gods work with these, keep up the phenomenal work.

I think i found the best method to have the best workout, just do everything high speed and experiment with different handles, different finishes, different shot selections, gets you used to any scenario. I am not saying to look autistic so imagine that there are defenders that you are trying to go through just like shadow boxing but in basketball.

Title: The simple mindset all great players have. Then, you talk about reacting to the defense instead of forcing the defense to react to you. Then, telling kids that coaches that say, "keep it simple" or to drive in straigh lines is wrong. Again, I really want to show you the reality of NBA-level basketball. Teaching these kids the wrong things literally limits their growth. Training for non-game situations is worthless.

As always, you're wrong. AAU is about winning? Also, isn't AAU only during the summer? AAU kids aren't coached by people who know the game (what qualifies you to coach/train players)? You know, considering the fact that you never played high-level basketball and you are consistently wrong (sometimes absurd) in your advice. The fact that you talk about live training is laughable. The number of US-born NBA players that had access to training is verrrry low. Even those with training rarely make it. Luka is in the NBA, he's also a 6'7 PG. Name a single foreign NBA player that made it to the NBA on skill alone. You suck.

Anyone, coaches, players, I need some advice as I train by myself everyday so when it comes to defence I’m ok, a bit hesitant and when it comes to playing against defence I lack the confidence to drive to the basket worried that I’m going to hurt myself any ideas how to get out of this bad habit of being soft in game??

You’ve been saying what I’ve been thinking for at least the past 4 years now, America is fucked in basketball if we keep doing things the way we do them the rest of the world is gonna run laps around us. Pretty soon it’s gonna be like Soccer
