Dolphin, because it's almost 10000 euros cheaper. But it's a little boring looking, I like the sharper Seagull and Seal style more.

I'd go with the Dolphin over the Atto 3 myself! Just can't fully get behind the FWD in BYD cars, but I do love their infotainment and the interior seems very cushy

I’ve driven both., Didn’t care for the Atto3. Loved the Dolphin. Same platform, but an overall much better experience. I am currently driving a Stellantis car that has the shifter you show. No problem with that. Got used to it within 24 hours. I actually prefer the shifter in the Dolphin. Very intuitive. I don’t like the lever in the Atto 3 … but best of all is the Tesla stalk, which is probably why I do not like the transmission tunnel lever, but sadly the stalk is likely to disappear from all models in the near future. It will be missed. BTW have ordered the Dolphin. It’s an altogether great choice. The Atto is just too bland for me in both looks and driving experience. Yet, even though they use the same platform, the Dolphin is a great drive! I agree that the Atto 3 is overpriced. Yet I don’t think the Dolphin is.

Hi 👋 congrats on the subscribers 🎉 Here, in Spain, the Atto3 is also priced a bit high to be really competitive. I prefer a gear selector close to the wheel, so your arm does not need to travel far while parking. Somehow the Dolphin looks like a toy car to me, but the Atto3 is a bit bland outside. It is a big contrast (interior and exterior) in the Atto3, like two different cars.

Hope you hit 1000 subscribers soon 👍 BYD have really got their pricing wrong in Europe, they need to be undercutting competitors because they have no existing customer base or track record. I think their decision to use third party dealers is a mistake too

Thank you! I hope so too - seems like 1000 is just around the corner 🤭. The Dolphin Active is rumored to cost just over 26 000 GBP and is supposed to be available at the beginning of 2024, so if BYD delivers on that, they could become quite interesting for the European market.You are right about dealers, European customers are very sensitive to good service and support. I do know they are planning to expand their production to Europe and are currently scouting locations, which to me says they may subsequently start expanding to Europe even on the sales and service side of things. Time will tell 🤷

I have an Atto 3 and love it, while the retail price Is a bit high here in the UK it is priced aggressively on lease and salary sacrifice deals, which is what appealed to me. Overall I’m super happy with the car, the tech, the drive, the range, all great for my personal situation, might not suit everyone of course

I like it as well, just that price is a bit of a turn off for me, but I didn't take into consideration any deals like you mention. That probably makes it more appealing even price-wise. I am very drawn to that infotainment. What's your favorite thing about the car?

I am waiting for the version 2 blade battery to start arriving in either of these vehicles. Smaller volume, less weight, more kWh per kg and way more range.
