The BYD Seagull, part of the Ocean series, is a 5-door, 4-seater EV built on e-platform 3.0. It features a rugged, sharp design with wavy lines, NFC and Bluetooth key capabilities, and a smartphone app for convenient access. Measuring 3780/1715/1540 mm with a 2500 mm wheelbase, it offers two battery options: 30.08 kWh and 38.88 kWh. The larger battery variant provides a CLTC range up to 405 km, likely around 300 km on the WLTP cycle.
The Seagull’s single-motor drivetrain delivers up to 55 kW of power, making it agile for city driving. Inside, it has a minimalistic design with a 7" instrument panel and an 11.1" rotatable infotainment screen. Safety features include four airbags. Despite a 75 kW motor configuration appearing in MIIT filings, it hasn't been officially announced.
