First off, Glastonbury is a veeeeery weird and interesting place! It's unlike anything else we've seen in the England and probably pretty unique in the UK as well. Glastonbury isn't just home to the festival either but the spiritual side of the event carries over into the town for sure.
This is the last day of our Rabbies trip around Cornwall and Devon and in this travel vlog we actually leave England, bound for Ireland and a trip with Rabbies again to the Northern Ireland.

Yup we saw loooads of GOT sites! Just a 3 day trip sadly so we've left now, but loved it and will be back to spend more time in Cork with friends! Stace does most of the Insta, I (Dane) generally run the KZfaq beast :)

Glastonbury is a real experience! I've been there many times over the years as I had a place in Somerset at one time. Pity you didn't get a chance to visit the Tor because the views from there over the Somerset Levels are amazing. Ireland is a beautiful place - there is some incredible scenery and the green of the landscape is intense - it really earns the title of Emerald Isle. I've still got a photo of myself with my first pint of Guinness on Irish soil - it was at the Ferryboat Inn, Portumna on the banks of the Shannon River in 1989 :)

Well there you go! Here I thought Glastonbury was just the music festival. I reckon I'd really like the laid back vibe of Glastonbury. Might have to pop in for a couple of days the next time I'm in that neck of the woods. As much as I loved my time in the UK, I must admit the prices hit my wallet hard. Sorta glad to be back in Asia. haha Looking forward to watching your Irish adventure!

Shame you didn't see Glastonbury Abbey. I did a tour of Great Britain a few years ago and the abbey was an unexpected highlight. The grounds are gorgeous and the ruins of the abbey are pretty majestic! So for anyone reading this comment, you should see Glastonbury Abbey if the opportunity presents itself.

Guessing the "Emerald Isle" name stems from the greenness... :) Gotta be more original... There is more to Irish brew culture than Guinness... Murphy's, Kilkenny, and Beamish spring to mind... :) For something extra there is Porterhouse Brewing Co. Oyster Stout...

King Arthur’s grave site in Glastonbury. The grave was created my medieval monks as a tourist attraction. To raise funds for the Abby’s upkeep and maintenance back in 1412. It was so successful the monks never removed it. Historians say he was buried somewhere in the new forest. Nobody knows for sure as there were no records of births and deaths back then.

brian its not known whether he lived at all never mind where he is buried.Its like queen maeves grave where i live in co 'sligo ireland.Supposedly burried on knocknarea hill some say keash hill which is even nearer,but in truth we don't know whether she ever existed.

Never got the taste for Guiness, but Irish Red Beer is love, no doubt about that. Be sure to try some. And some ciders, there are some really good handcrafted ones.
