hi cari! Three years ago, I found your videos, and I thought.. wow Korea seems like a nice place! Last year I got the chance to go and study in Seoul for a year, and it was the greatest year in my life so far. I came back as a full on grown up, independent and adventurous girl, I never thouht I could travel by myself! You inspired me to just go and try it! Now I'm back in Europe, spending most of my time talking to my friends about Korea, and even though I was very tired because od Uni in Seoul, I do miss it a LOT. I will definitely be coming back and visiting all my friends. Now, watching you walk to the bus at the Busterminal is so nostalgic to me, I remember my own little trips, thank you for sharing your moments and inspiring me to go out and experience my own! I've been watching your videos for two years- they honestly got me through the misery of Uni- and now my dream finally came true and I moved to Seoul. I remember depressed me, sitting on my bed feeling trapped and miserable, knowing that when I watch your videos I get to escape. I think one of the reasons I love South Korea as much as I do is because they do so well at blending traditional, modern and future. It's also one of the reasons why I love Japan and really any place that has mastered being able to appreciate and hold on to the past while also looking and working towards the future. There are some surprisingly untouched neighborhoods in Daejeon. I visited our old family house this past summer and it was still there. This is amazing because I moved to the states in the mid-80's and there has been so much development since then. Anyway, thanks for this lovely jaunt around the city. It made me want to go back and explore more of it someday!

Omg! If you have not read belladonna yet please do yourself a favor and check it out!! This week has been challenging(to say the least). Husband got in an ATV accident, it was really bad, he broke two vertebrae, his wrist/hand/fingers, and his knee. He had to have emergency back surgery, he has to have hand surgery. Reading has saved me this week. I finished Belladonna during his back surgery. I also read the sequel to six crimson cranes which was good as well but Belladonna really was epic!

My jaw always drops when I watch your videos, It’s never ending beauty, it’s so peaceful and relaxing I love it all. Also my first thought upon seeing the buses from the outside was yooooo they mad fancier than here in America 😅 but the premium makes sense as to why it’s so fancy 😂

I simply adore how South Korea takes cafe business seriously..I mean they are so good and obsessed with aesthetic and I believe it also makes vloggers life much more easier for a good shot! Or should we give the credits to good youtubers ;) I have been there (Seoul only) in 2019 and stayed like one week. I wish I had known your channel since then because I was craving for some bakery :) P.S Bamboo cafe! It is just Namjoon style..I can imagine him there with his Murakami book👌

I enjoyed your day trip....thanks for taking us along. I was surprised by the 'western' looking homes....any one of them could be right down the street from me, but seem so out of place over there. I am always fascinated by the cafes and what they serve. I'm disabled so I rarely leave my home and I am not particularly aware of what cafes here are like, but those in Korea have amazing desserts I've never seen before. I was also taken aback by the bus you rode! All of the transport systems I've seen in videos there are so nice and clean....nothing like you'd ever see here, where people have no respect and seem to trash everything...in some big cities people will actually defecate right in the subway cars and on the streets in front of shops! One thing that does bother me in Korea are all of the electric/telephone wires hanging EVERYWHERE! To me, they are van eyesore and they look so hazardous, but I guess you get used to them. Love your videos as always...wonder if you've ever given any thought to cinematography.....you do such beautiful work! Thank you again, ARMY grandma
