I took the above picture in my garden, however, I do not own the copyright to the recording of Katie doing the work with people. They are from old tapes, CDs and downloads that were free for sharing and the quality is not the best. I'm uploading them with the intention that they still might be able to bring peace to some of you. For other recordings please see this playlist: • Byron Katie - Old tape...

This woman is so courageous to be willing to share this publicly and be willing to go so deeply into such sensitive areas of herself. I feel so grateful to her. This is exquisite work to witness and I so can relate. Thank you, thank you.

Dear Always in the Now - Can we "go out on a limb" together? I am emboldened to do just that - alone if necessary! Here we go: "I believe that your sharing of Byron Katie's *The Work* has been probably the most important contribution by ANYBODY to KZfaq, EVER! If people would be willing to question their thoughts by doing The Work, SO MUCH more peace would settle into this tired old world." Words cannot express the gratitude I feel toward you, whoever you are! I must be addressing "an angel unawares" (as in the biblical reference to "entertaining strangers.") Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your work posting these Katie programs has often brought soul-felt guffaws of joyous laughter of recognition (of victory) from within me. Oh, how I'd love to become a practitioner of "The Work" for people seeking help with their troubling thoughts!

thank you so much for your kind words 💕💕💕 as katie would say, every time i do the work my world becomes more peaceful - and that has been my experience too. these recordings (and of course actually doing the work) helped me so much to experience peace and joy in my life that i felt a great desire to share them. what's holding you back from becoming a practitioner?

Thank you, Always in the Now, for responding to my post on this page. What holds me back from becoming a practitioner? Well . . . those old bugaboos - money, time, travel, and advancing age (nearly 70.) Is it true? Can I really be SURE that they're all true? How does it make me . . . you know the rest, right? Isn't it odd how we humans LOVE our stories so much(!) that we're willing to continue to suffer with our thinking. Giving all that consternation up for peace, joy, and freedom is what I call "the exquisite trade (or bargain)." And YET we resist that move! Will we be seeing more BK posts from you? I remember seeing a note on one of your recent posts that "this is the last." I surely hope we'll continue to find more of her Work! ! !

Thank you again, Always in the Now. You say that your "job's done." Well, may I say that it has been well-done and importantly-done. I have enjoyed SO MANY joy-guffawing responses to watching and hearing people's release from their suffering, some of the pain decades-old. (Even as I tap out this response, YT has listed "He Won't Forget the Past" - a particularly heart-warming "Work" - for me to click on, for probably the fourth time!) Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, for your service to us all. Hands together, I bow in gratitude to you.

4:40 It hurts me when he tells me he is happier than he has ever been in his life 10:07 I want him to be happy but only if I am the one who can do it. 11:00 “it’s really nice he is with her since you don’t love him anyway” 16:49 “I don’t like David finding deeper sexual fulfillment with Lisa than he did with me” 32:17 “I want David to want me more than he wants Lisa” 37:02 “I don’t want him to think that” 37:59 “I call it self-love” 41:00 “I’m not good enough” “he is with her coz I’m not good enough “ 41:48 "The thought gives you the identity of a women that hurts" 44:45 “my father did what he did not bc of me but bc of his story” 47:29 “ you are doing with him what you don’t want him to do” 48:40 “if he stopped using marijuana he would prefer you?” “How do you treat him?” 52:24 “he smokes, he prefers her, see it clearly” 58:03 “he does marijuana, he’s doing his job” 1:06:36 “who am I without the suffering, without the identity of a woman that suffers?”

So it's called the work. Yet she says their questions of course they're not going to work. Then why inquire in the first place? She says it's to end suffering within. So when you realize that all you are is awareness of being essentially like Neville Goddard teaches. Why be? If you're not supposed to be attached to anything. Why is the human Incarnation still incarnating? If infinite intelligence AKA awareness of being is smarter than the human being experienced. What else does it need to prove to itself? Why does it need to play all the parts and finish up Karma, unfinished business etc? Why can't it just send everything and lay everything to rest. What more information doesn't need? God's business, my business, and their business. If I'm here experiencing me is Neville Goddard puts it, the whole vast world is myself pushed out. And as the Kabbalah puts it, everything is and isn't at the same time. Why does this infinite intelligence insist on being the mad scientist and using me as a tool collecting it and Records to pick up where it last left off? How am I ever supposed to be settled and comfortable in that? In the ultimate truth of all of this? If I am light years dumber than infinite intelligence, why continue to reincarnate?

God is Love. And Love must love. And to love there must be a Beloved. That is from page one of The Everything and the Nothing by Meher Baba. For love to love, there must be separation/duality, hence creation. Why does it continue? It doesn't; it's an illusion. This according to Baba. Why inquire in the first place--I didn't for 11 years after I first discovered the questions. Then one day I was desperate enough to do it despite the fact it hadn't worked for me the first time. And then it did work for me. It works or it doesn't as the case may be.
