Oh how lovely to hear Katie only 10 years into sharing The Work. After so many years of listening, I can hear what has changed and has not really changed. Soooo beautiful. Katie is love in action. Thank God for her.

People who are lucky enough to not have toxic, or even abusive, people, in their families, shouldn't judge those that have abandoned those that have given hundreds, or even hundreds-of-thousands of chances, to those who were abusive to us! You should be grateful for your happy life and stop judging us! I know it's hard but please try to at least see both sides of a story.

Did that lady around 34:00 say that rape was the only way her dad knew how to show love?? I’ve found The Work very useful in most circumstances, but this one didn’t make sense. I got the part where it should happen since it did happen, but to say that’s the only way someone knows how to show love and so they were loving the person by raping her/him is too much. And no, a child can’t “tempt” an adult. Even if she was walking around naked; he was the adult and her FATHER. Thanks for posting this. It’s good to see in what cases this type of inquiry is not helpful
