This is in the weight and size class of a 30cal can. WB will be noticeably smaller and lighter. Sure if you only have 6mm and below, this is your one-can. 😎

Just watched your 3 videos on the CAT cans you have out. Do you have a JL video in the works? Just ordered one a couple days ago for my 18” Aero AR10. Already have a Hyperion, but that will be moving to my .300 blk AR.

Such a jump in bolt velocity on the 5.55 at 4:44. Did you adjust the gas setting or is that due to the back pressure?

Depends on what you’re going for. Do you want maximum suppression? Is weight your biggest concern? What kind of firing schedule (Ti or 718 Inconel?) Are you wanting something that can fit on multiple calibers- like 30 cal - or do you want a specific ‘duty can’ for your 5.56? I will say the ODB is fantastic and great on 300 BLK, .308, and 5.56. But the inconel is heavy. You would still probably be very happy with Otter Creek, but CAT cans are king when it comes to absolute suppression ratings (at the moment). If you want the cream-o-the-crop, would recommend saving up.

Oh! Forgot! The ODB/WB all make use of Surge Bypass- this means they are low back pressure which is important in a typical AR platform. All suppressors will cause your gun to work harder- faster parts wear, gas to face , etc. but low back pressure cans will do that a *lot* less. If that matters to you- would recommend going for CAT instead, though OCL gent has said he’s working on a next gen can with low back pressure characteristics, but it’s probably going to be priced right up there at above $1k. R&D is pricey.

It would Mainly be 5.56 but I do like the idea of the can being able to accommodate other calibers if I do decide to get into 6mm or 300BO. And I love the love back pressure concept which is why I figure the OCL P30 would be the better option with less back pressure. But yeah it does seem CAT’s stuff is the best stuff out now. Just trying to figure out if it’s worth 2x a P30 you know

@@PeaktacTrust me. Get the 718 ODB or Ti if you’re looking to reduce weight. You won’t regret it. It’s worth every penny. I have a polo, enticer s, cat sr, JL, mob, and odb. The reduction in blowback alone is worth it. It just happens to outperform the polo and enticer on 556 as well. It’s weirdly good.

I like the idea of 6 ARC but pretty much having only Hornady producing factory loads is a no go for me. Sticking with the Grendel.

Not sure if it’s just phone audio, but 6arc definitely sounded better (deeper) than the 5.56 test. As in, 6arc sounded easier to suppress than 5.56. Incorrect?

They were so close to me that I questioned if I am hearing a difference. This video will probably have a large view count, from people like myself, keep coming back to reference it. I waited on the WB/ODB because I was in the market for a 6mm arc can.

The 6 arc can has ever so slightly more space for gas expansion- so if there is a difference between the Noah and WB- it’s probably due to that volume + extra material for heat soak. As far as the rounds go- I think the 6 Arc was coming out of a longer barrel- that will also greatly affect things. Longer barrel = less unburnt powder at the end = less explosivity at the muzzle. I’m betting a 5.56 out of a 20” barrel would be indistinguishable to the 6 arc to most human ears. You’d have to do some pewscience waveform analysis to pick out the differences. Additionally- the 6 arc was running out of a bolt gun, so you’d get no ejection port pop like you would on the DI gas guns.

I love your channel but silencer shop is absolute trash…I have 3 damn stamps that I’m apparently not allowed to use unless I buy a suppressor from them…there is an option to pay $25 to add a serial number to their inventory if you bought it elsewhere but when you try to call them they keep you on hold for over 3 hours just to be shitty to you and get off the phone without helping you or emailing you back….I will never and I mean never give them any of my business again

Dude, none of my nfa stuff has been purchased through them. Only used it for the forms. I have even added other serials to the profile without having to pay to add them. If you have the stamp then you should have the items. Specially if you purchased through an LGS and only used the kiosk for the forms. You do not have to add a serial to your profile to use your items
