It was from MOD DB website. go to that website and search for shockwave and then go and find it in mods section. You mean not zero hour, just generals? I dont think it does, it is made for zero hour. and i think the reason is people are not active in that generals as much as zero hour. could there be an issue with game files? lots of people are using GenLauncher nowadays. I have formatted my laptop lots of times in 1 year and everytime I downloaded the game with GenLauncher, I never encountered any errors

I am guessing that this error message occurs if there are issues with Windows components such as .Net Framework or Microsoft Visual C++ which are required to run the game. Make sure to install both and also make sure to install DirectX which is also important for video games

BRO SAME! @@bytes021 me and a friened used to play a lot but we couldnt even finish the game cuz we kept getting that error. if we never gotten errors in the first seconds of starting game, we were getting it after like 30 minutes or an hour. We tried our best to fix it, we used several methods to play online for example once in gameranger, once radmin and once in online of game itself. we were using mods btw, we had and used same mods and addons but nothing fixed it. i noticed that official zero hour was working fine but i just dont know what was wrong with the mods. I wasted hours of my times to fix it but then i just gave up which is why i dont play online anymore.

No, you dont add maps into GenLauncher. You add them into ZH folder in your documents of user. I made a tutorial of how to add maps/missions and here is the video

It depends on the mod you use. Vanilla zero hour doesn’t have that many colors. But mods like ROTR, Contra and SHW have more colors

@@andriedota2 I don’t remember well where I downloaded the game and I dont have installation file anymore but I remember I saw it in websites like steamunlocked and ocean of games back then and I am not sure if they are still available or if they really work.

Try downloading GenPatcher,it help me fix most of the problems with compatibility,I was having the same issue downloading mod from GenLauncher,so I tried to download GenLauncher from GenPatcher and my problem was fixed.

That error seems new to me but definitely the devs of GenLauncher may know the issue. Search GenLaucher in google and hopefully you will find their link and Join their discord channel and ask them. I was gonna copy invitation link but i couldnt get it so maybe they disabled it for us

I made a tutorial of installing ZH with that link as my first KZfaq video but I got a strike from KZfaq and they removed my video. If only the video was still there, anyone couldve gotten ZH for free

GenLauncher? there is no uninstallation methods for that, you have to manually do it by deleting it and its file which has the mods in it

about the ROTR, if you keep having that issue from downloading the mod from the launcher, why not try bring the mod from moddb and put it in your genlauncher? it could work but not really sure

but tbh, i am thinking of another issue. i had same issue as you had for ROTR. my game kept getting techinal difficulty error so I had to delete ROTR and reinstall it again. i realized at first try of downloading, my internet was bad but second time was smooth. so i am thinking it could be file corruption

Where they located? If you mean GenLauncher you simply delete it from the game file directory but if it is a mod in game file directory it may be hard to delete it if there isnt uninstallation file to run. If there is uninstallation to run, then just run it and it will uninstall the mod

I am afraid there isn't disabling mod. but I think the problem is still solvable if you are using GenLauncher @@nexus5640 GenLauncher is just a normal launcher it doesn't have anything as a mod to be added to game folder and do stuff with it. it is just it creates another folder in official game folder that runs the mods you want. it doesnt effect the original game and you can normally just lunch zero hour. but if you have the mods installed to your game folder. i think you can still run official zero hour. for example I used to have shockwave mod in my game folder. I had both the launcher and I still had the zero hour, i could just get into zero hour game by launching zero hour and not the shockwave launcher

Hello! there could be different issues but I dont know well unless I see. but here are solutions i know so far: if you go to launcher's options, there is something called "install and update gentool" make sure this is enabled and join the game so you get further options for resolution. but if gentool still didnt work or didnt install, you have to go to google and search for gentool to download it separately and install it

You will see that USA Mini game, china mini game, gla mini game are 3 replaced with USA campaign, china campaign, and gla campaign. If they are not replaced then there must be a problem you gotta figure it out
