Twelve years have passed since the Third Tiberium War. Some people have long forgotten the uninvited guests who visited the earth, but we never will. In decades of war, our sense of time has long ceased to exist. We know that as long as there are Thai mines on the earth, the war will never end. Is it a godsend or a curse...
Tiberium Crisis 2: Dawn Fall (TC2: Dawn Fall) is a free domestic folk self-made fan work (MOD). Although using Red Alert 2 as the basis, after many years of hard work, this 2D old game will bring modern operation style to all RTS players. In this game, players will play two different GDI battlefield commanders and experience the cruelest fourth Tiberium war ever since.
"Tiberium Crisis 2: Dawn Fall" features PVE and multiplayer PVP campaigns. The campaign includes 5 educational levels and 12 GDI campaigns. The background of the story takes place after "Command and Conquer 3", and at the same time there are modifications to the previous plot (including old battles and built-in data database). The game is currently still in production, and the second trailer for the first real machine was officially released today.

@@emperorx5 Obviously, this is not a vanilla engine. A team of enthusiasts developed Phobos v0.3, most likely it is used by the creators of the mod. The Mental Omega mod works on the old version.

you are correct, however this is isometric, so its 2.5d i know it sounds weird but its what it is.

@@hamedameri9910 not 100% true, its still using sprites so it is still technicolly 2D as a sprite is a flat image still, 2.5D still uses full 3D models but due to how a camera lock plasy in and based on control limitations purposfully put in to say make a side scrolling platformer then its a 2.5D. for example paper mario is a 3D game despite using a flat look, but has full 3d world control, where donkey kong country returns is a 2.5D game this is still technicolly a 2D game just isometric view does not make it a 2.5D as C&C 3 is all 3D models and that is a 3D game, despite also isometric

That's pretty cool. Combining units from C&C 4 Tiberian Dawn and Tiberium Wars 3. I really like the idea. I wonder if the Tiberium is also getting to the point where it is no longer mineable?

@@ouranos0101yes it does. The crawlers are very mobile and can be deployed forward to train units but it still retains the CNC RTS formula

If the GST is available it should have the ability to both deploy forces and harvest tiberium (in CNC4's lore GSTs were used to transport GDI armies and as well as gather Tiberium for disposal, Kane was given one of these during the truce)

We need a comprehensive guide to install this. I cannot figure out why the mod crashes upon start with an error message reading ClientDX is missing. I've looked at the Discord and I can't even post or comment there, since its turned off commenting.

C&c3 by westwood had no base building it was tactical deployment and squads then EA took over and made it have basebuilding check out the leaked gameplay

@@DJNicShogun there is no leaked gameplay because WW CnC 3 never made it past pre-production, all there is are mockups for the UI and a mockup for the introduction of the first mission. There are concept arts of some of the buildings and units which ended up in other CnC projects like Yuri's faction in RA2 being basically the remnants of the Cabal Faction planned for WW CnC3 and the Nod powerplant was 1:1 used for CnC 3 TW.

probably, back when i played it, they were boringly easy, but then again i beat mental omegas campaigns on mental so maybe im biased

@@phoenixrising6006 you would be an exception, not the rule. I'd put forth that most of us aren't capable of handling mental omega on mental let alone anything above normal. That's for folks who've played these games for years and were able to handle the difficulty curve of the originals on higher difficulty. I am not those people. I can handle more modern games on harder difficulties - but not these. My click rate is too low and my click accuracy at speed isn't the best.

Think you're playing the C5.5 version or sth. That campaign and game and units and AI were horribly unbalanced imo. Even on easy the game is unmanageable. But with current 1.072 version it's finally a normal RTS difficulty for campaign now and the skirmish are faster

A lot. To the point modders have to use Injection tools to force their code to run, such as "Syringe" Upgrading structures is one of them.

aliens meh, I also didn't like unrealistic air units. New types of rockets will do their landing in the same horizontal position. I wonder why SpaceX decided to try reverse their huge rockets with an engine power, instead of adding something like a mount system onto rocket, like they did for their smaller stages but horizontal. Couldn't they have come up with the idea of combining a rocket with a simple rocket pad
