I had the privilege to attend a concert of Celine Dion. That was years ago at th Miami arena. Even today I can say that was the greatest concert I ever attend. An unforgettable experience. Thanks Celine for your talent, your art.

Before the climax the singer is in state of self pity. “Don’t want to be by myself anymore, woe is I”. After the climax, it is a state of indignation and pride, as if saying, “I WONT be by myself anymore”. Celine captures the duality of the depressed emotions followed by triumphant emotions in a way we can all connect with. Really a beautiful song about loss and hope.

Yea autotune saved her on the verses :). Can't even really hear her since it was all robotic. also climax was pre-recorded but whatever she was sick. I love Celine but this is not the performance to praise her please... After 2008 she rarely sings anything truly live (There's either live autotune or lipped climaxes) and you know what? That does bother me cuz she still can hit the notes. I know her aim is to have more longevity in her voice but this is not the way. She sang live Bb5s in 2018 or smthn. She doesn't have to do this.

All these people in the comments talking about auto tune and pitch correct are really missing the true talent this woman really has not to mention.....ahh for some strange reason she sells out tours and stadiums and is a world icon and keyboard warriors want to cut her down. I really respect this woman. She’s always serious with her career, and respect the audiences. She always gives perfect performances (about her look, about her voice, about the way she perform, about all details she ask for her performance, …). She has never given a bad performance.

The real Legend is Rachmaninoff... Without him, this song was never made since it was stolen from his Piano concerto no. 2 second movement and it hurts that they dont even give him slight credit for it...

Although she's become more nasal with time, no one can sing in better pitch and belt those beautiful high notes. LISTEN to the pitch and perfection that she delivers EVERY single note. Legendary is the least I can say!

Just came from the Grammy edition of 1997 , and she definitely has become much more nasally, but she can hit the high notes much better, so I guess it's a trade off. 😂 she's still pretty darn amazing.

@@sinx1057 If it's just about vocals, you reserve a right to your opinion. It's extremely bias, and I can tell you've never listened to Mariah Carey's all that much to make such an outlandish statement. I recommend you listen to her live vocals in her prime because she has more lung capacity, power and range than you would expect. And objectively speaking, they all do the same thing very differently so it's hard to say which one is better overall vocally.
