Oh thank god. I finally found a cover where the singer keeps an open throat on the “all I ask is” part. Celine does it and it’s why she sounds so powerful at that part and why almost none of the covers seem to have that same power.

If you want to see one of the few covers of this where the singer keeps an open throat on that part, listen to Rebecca Aldred’s cover of this song. It’s truly beautiful. And not auto tuned at all. Real.

True, Kimberly is powerful. But the 'open throat' only worked because she is able to hit that note comfortably and maintain it. Its all in breath control. And i loved it when she hit that same G note that she did in her Voice blind audition. I am getting lost for words on how good she is.

You have a beautiful lower register - I've been watching your videos all day - I hope you do well on The Voice. Seems like everyone is talking about another Voice contestant, but out of all the singers this season, you have the most soulful timbre and your vibrato is natural and you never seem to force your notes - everything is fluid and so, so good....
