A good number of pits and dark pits qualifying in the world smash tour and they place it as a C Tier, they do not even mention their combo game, the stage control with the arrows, having the fastest smashs in the game, their quick initial dash, Being one of the few characters with a frontal Kill throw, it is seen that this list is more a matter of taste than of results.

I have to say that there are some criticisms in the banjo kazooie section, as a banjo main. 1: speed. They said he is slow when his speed is....really weird. He walks slow and runs fast. His jumps are slow and tiny but you have multiple (and down B can be a extra tiny jump). So I would not necessarily say that. 2: one thing they should have mentioned are how inconsistent his aerials are. Nair, Bait, and Uair are all great moves (Uair is the worst, though it's a anti-air and can be followed up into) but they have inconsistent hit-boxes. Unlike say palutena's Nair, people can fall out of Nair depending on how long they are in. It has benefits (they don't expect Nair > turn-around Fsmash and canceling the move earlier can be follow up into other moved consistently). 3: I think his approach options are better then what they may say. You can use the eggs to help with that, in addition to Fspecial (strong and super armor) and dash attack (all-around fast and no resource management) being burst options that could help. Since all his moves make people want to block, you can get grabs pretty well. Personally I would bring him up a tier. As mentioned, he is great at neutral, advantage, and disadvantage so it's not easy to go wrong. He also has kill options (in addition to F special and F smash being strong if you read them, you also have down B > side special if you are high, down through into all sorts of things, and Nair gimmicks). His mobility issues are kinda covered also, with how great he is at disadvantage covering small jumps and fast run speed to cover slow walk speed. His issues lie in being pressured, resource management, and inconsistent aerials. As you can tell, his issues revolve around difficulty of play. Math up chart summary: changes depending on how you play. Campy banjos have issues against a lot of characters that others have issued with. I play banjo a bit more aggressively and I have to say I would do well against zoner or trapper/technical combo characters but suck against heavies/fast fire emblem characters (I hate Bowser). This is all from my personal experience though. Edit: down throw, not down through. You can also down B into lots of things and you may spam up tilt above you like snake.

Well, there is no way Zelda is D tier in my opinion. C tier is where she reside.

First time they put Falcon in mid tier, I thought, "eh probably." Now after all of the buffs and meta advances? Ain't no way he's mid. Solid high tier. Most pro player tier lists have him hovering somewhere in high tier. Is he easy to play? Not necessarily. Technically demanding? At a high level yes. Grounded movement doesn't matter? That's half of Pika and ZSS' mobility; half of the reason they're so good and what partially holds Captain Falcon back from being even higher on tier lists. This insight is skin deep, very superficial and not at all accurate. Pro Guides makes some good stuff but tier lists, definitely not one of them.

C tier is honestly a mess in my opinion. Captain Falcon, Wii Fit Trainer, and Mii Brawler CLEARLY do not belong here. I'd even argue that Mewtwo, Toon Link, and Hero also don't belong here. For Mewtwo, I'm a bit biased since I main the character but I think it has a lot of great tools and people always over exaggerate its disadvantage. I don't care if people agree with me on this next statement (and I might be called crazy for this) but I'm a firm believer that Mewtwo is low high tier. Toon Link has got some great results competitively and Japan/Europe mostly agree that Toon Link is somewhere in high tier or the top of mid tier, so there is some legitimate evidence that Toon Link is much better than what this video paints him out to be. Hero (while having a lot of RNG elements) definitely has enough sauce to (imo) warrant being above C tier. Maybe somewhere in high mid tier or low high tier. I somewhat agree with Marth and Pit/Dark Pit's placement (although I do believe they have some potential to rise a little further in the tiers) and I completely agree with Robin, Duck Hunt, and Banjo's placement in C tier. Some characters I would personally replace this tier with are Zelda, Ridley, and Piranha Plant.

These tier placements overall have been pretty... interesting to put it nicely. S I mostly agree with but everything else afterwards, especially a lot of A is pretty bad.

Just a thought on Banjo and Kazooie's wonderwing move. Id rather have it linked to a limited resource rather then have it do damage like Charizard's flare blitz. Plus the less you use it, the more careful your opponent is going to be around you. Wonderwing should only be used to recover or to catch an opponent off guard at high percents for an easy stock. Wonderwing keeps them wonderING.... ill show myself out.

The sour hitboxes set up for frame traps leading to high damage strings and you land tippers during advantage either off of sour-tipper confirms (which aren't super easy, but are consistent to land offline) or when you put someone into a tech situation. Aight I could put up with all the other shenanigans in this list but I'm a mii brawler player and I can assure you half the things said were dead wrong. I'm fine with them saying he's low tier but not for the reasons listed. "Weak air to air options" has a kill confirm with up air, "Less than stellar bit boxes" SaK outrages lucina forward air(Though I admit Brawler has some jank in this area), "weak landing options" can vary his trajectory widely with multiple moves, "mild advantage" can kill you off of a wrong guess and kill you at 0 both on and off stage. I used to be fine with these lists but now I'm starting to understand why people think they're retarded. This is clearly written by people who don't compete or understand the character meta

I honestly think Marth players don't have to space for his tipper. His sour spots are not even that bad, it's just that his tipper is good and people are spending too much time trying to space and it's a waste. Playing like Lucina with Marth wouldn't punish you too much and the tipper is just slightly better than the sour spot (depending on the move), but for people spiking, you will get punished if you don't space properly.
