Of course in flight it would move way WAY faster than that with the big engine driven Hyd.Pumps! The small electric external-maintenance -stick-on-pump makes it S-L-O-W...

I'm finding a lot of conflicting information about N8501W's airworthiness. Is it actually airworthy and if so does it fly at all?

Airflow at flying speed would provide some aft-pressure assist in raising the gear, so it could go easier.

It's being driven by an auxiliary pump... The engine driven pumps move the gear at a reasonable speed.
