THANKYOU for the "close up" video.. I knew how to do this, as I've owned 3 OBS Chevy trucks.. however, I'm an over-the-road truck driver, and my wife has to do this..like "now" this video will definitely let her complete the job.. thanks again..!!

A have a 93 chevy c1500 with the pin style arms but would like to convert over to j hooks like the 95 and up c1500.... would the arms be interchangeable?

I'm not sure. I would think they are as long as the spline hole on the end are the same it should work

Word of advice, when working on the arms, DO NOT raise the hood. If arms are in up to the sky position you will chip your paint on the hood facing the windshield. Just sayin'.

..P.S.. what year is that truck in your video..? mine is a '92 K2500, has the "pin" style arms..(which I hate..), wanna replace with the "beam", or "U" style like in your video.. thanks in advance..!! I do have same "lock/unlock" tabs like in your video..

Mine is a 98 I didn’t know it’s different on the 92

@@matthew1er ..yeah, it's got the older "pin" style that holds the wiper blade on.. my other 2 were a '89 & '90.. they had pin style too..GM must have changed it bout (?) '94-'95..? Got some other guys checking theirs on a few OBS GM sites I belong to on FB.. At least I can just put in: " '98" on Advanced Auto site & it will give me the "U" style like you got.. Thanks again..!!

Outlaw93.. I went ahead & got the pin style, just in case.. I found out later, that the "U" stle will work, as long as it's got the "pop with a flat blade screwdriver" type locking mechanism.. of course, after a week, one of my brand new wiper blades "came off" the pin.. (I zip tied it for now..)👍

@@DiamonDave1361 of course it did 💀 the pins suck a$$ but I seen another guy installing J hooks and it was the ones you talking about so I got the link for them
