If these chains will come off. Stay safe. The Dance is enjoyable to watch.

Thanks. Matting the whole lease would be ideal, some just don’t do it. Must be a pretty steep cost to do it I’m sure

Easy money that day. Nice work dragging those guys around. That's not as easy as it looks.

I believe that would have been an HWN site? That's my old rig, operated that thing for many years before supervising.

It kind of looks like they are short a couple of mats! Certainly weren’t prepared for you guys!
@TimelapseTruckerRTOT8 ай бұрын
no just what they needed as if it was dry. just have to deal with it. pretty easy pull coil in, then place the mats, pull coil back onto them with the cat blade holding the mats so they dont move, is pretty basic, well here in alberta this is normal practise

I would've thought that floaters would be better than chains
@bigdog88158 ай бұрын
Bed truck is usually 400 an hour, floaters are up to a 1000 an hour, and they have to be hauled out.

What kind of weight can a floater handle, those tires must be tougher than the look.
@bigdog88158 ай бұрын
@@ds3552 it all depends really, they can lift as much as a 440” bed, depending on the length 150,000lbs and up, tires hold up really well, it’s just the ground conditions, so really comes down to the operator! That lease he’s on it the bed is pretty decent just greasy, top 12” is sticky and slimy but base underneath

floaters will stay up on top better for sure. they can do it all just have to go at some stuff differently. now have one built like a skidder with chains. this might be a weapon. the floater falls short on grip but in most cases its just fine, AWD its heavy too. some chaulks to help out sometimes

What are those tanks angled up at a 45, some kind of frac tank?
@xx23450008 ай бұрын
Think those are sand trailers, might of done a sand frac job on it.
@ds35528 ай бұрын
@@xx2345000 Was curious, so did some looking, Propell Sandstorm, very high tech sand boxes.
@justinjohnson72508 ай бұрын
I have heard them referred to as sand hogs.
@TimelapseTruckerRTOT8 ай бұрын
yes sand hogs, roll out empty, think as them as sand silos. fill from the top as a bulker dumps like a grain truck onto a conveyor that shoots it up to the tops of these trailers, hydraulically angled up like that so they fill all the way
