10:57 kazuha can swirl cryo into the hydro herald when they're close together but he can't absorb cryo into his burst or skill, which is what bennett is for (pyro>hydro>electro>cryo - using kazuha's stuff inside bennett's ring will let him absorb pyro instead of hydro, which helps with breaking both shields).

You don't need to stick to Rocky's team if it doesn't fit your playstyle. You should definitely bring a healer for both chambers (especially for the heralds and the consecrated beasts if you're switching teams with different runs), and a shielder for Yoimiya's team.

I summoned for her on a whim and got super lucky. Really fun to use even if clearly not meta. Sadly I’m out of summons now because I tried to get lightning to strike twice with alhaitham

The amswer is mono pyro Yoimiya Moga! Yoi, Benny, Zhongli, Kazuha. Especially at C6 cuz of ICD not every arrow can vape so mono pyro is overall stronger at C6. Also that way your Kazuha can still swirl pyro while having a shield and Benny breaking their shield which Yoi is too songle target for. As a C6 Yoi main this is what i did to surivive this nightmare :) also added Nahida instead of Kazuha at very desperate times and it worked, them being linked up really does make a difference

i probably could clear 12-1 with my yoimiya and yunjin team but ive been so burnt out, i kinda wanna see a comparison with my yoimiya and the c6 yoimiya team here

hyperbloom core with nahida, xingqiu and kuki and benny as flex was a god send for those herald for me ngl ayaka freeze handled first side pretty well

c6 yoimiya is one of the few cases that can actually get a bonus damage output over shimenawa with echoes of a offering because each of the bonus shots is consider normal damage, and because how close the majority of the shots can be allows 2 sometimes 3 shots(this i would actually need C6 or someone to test if it is possible) to actually gain the echoes bonus off of 1 proc. roughly speaking C6 bennett and R5 thundering pulse makes shimenawa give a 16.55% boost(R1 thundering pulse makes shimenawa worth 19.84%), well rough estimates of echoes at talent 10/13/xx makes the setbonus give 26.25% to the ttl dps. echoes is such a weird set, only places i ever found it actually worth is C1 physical fischl, C6 yoimiya and C6 wanderer. basicly all the chars that get double up on normal attack hits in a small time frame/at the same time. unless we get a char that hits stupidly fast with low talent dmg for the right time frame(0.05s-0.2s has a dead zone so avoiding that), i dont see this set ever get used outside of these specialized cases.

In chamber with whoperflowers, i think is better to run away so they teleport to you, if you dont have crowd control

Fun fact: there is a priority for which element can be swirled. Most anemo characters swirl Pyro more easily but interestingly enough, Anemo Travelers of all people can swirl cryo much more easier with their Burst. Edit: It seems I was off from what I wanted to say but @murmandamos_ explains it perfectly in the replies. Thank you kind person for correcting me!

Im guessing u just need to rush and kill the Hydro one with Yoimiya once he goes into shield mode u have to spam Kaz burst infused with cryo (u have to check u have cryo on when bursting) and at the same time focus hydro Lecter with yoimiya´s E pyro attacks then after the hydro is gone u take care pretty much the same way the cryos but infusing with Bennys burst kaz burst and done. But u need to keep ur distance and avoid over evading so u actually have stamina when u need it. :p

I cleared the abyss with a strange Yoimiya-Nahida burgeon team on second half, it somehow worked very good on every chamber

Wow, I have zero regrets for skipping last abyss reset.

I finally made it out 3 stars 12-1 with just Alhaitham quicken team for top half (Yae, Alhaitham, Kuki, Nahida) & Ayato National x Burgeon for bottom half (Bennett, Ayato, Baizhu, Xiangling). The top half consistently clears about 70-75 seconds (~1:10 minutes) and with that 'remaining' time I have finally managed to clear it with only 2 seconds left in bottom half, All 5* is C0 exception for Baizhu on C1... what a pain.

I love the team names especially the Hu Tao one. "Death."

My team for floor 12 chamber 1 was Venti raiden dendro mc Benny for first half and Kazuha Nahida xiangling and zhongli for second half. This abyss cycle is too tough to get through with the same two teams and have to change for each chamber. Yoimiya works amazing for chamber 2 and 3 second half

I somehow managed to do it with Hu Tao, Raiden, Yelan. But I always kept Hu Tao at full HP thanks to Koko and a bunch of I frames. I only cared about the survivability over a 30% damage boost. Also no, I do not have Zhongli yet sadly.

Could you play at sometime Ganyu with Nahida, Deyha and Benett? I ask cause it's extremely strong and makes fun too play. Nahida and Deyha are for the continuous burn on an enemy and Benett exists as support. Too it's an EM Ganyu( I play her with Wanderer's Troupe) set, so built her with enough EM and Deyha for more burning damage too on EM or with 4 pice Millelith-set (hope I don't write it to wrong, cause I only know from most Artifacts the German name).

my Yoimiya's in the top 1% with her shinmenawa set..lol, I decided to get her signature weapon (and of course got screwed and it went the full 2 points.. god damn hoyoverse) but now she's sitting at a lovely 100.4 / 218.7 with 2.3k Atk 2 things i notice that ruin players.. being a whale and Zhongli... for 12-1, you're supposed to run back about mid point from the edge and the start icon.. its far enough that the whopper flowers will all burrow and pop up near you, conveniently grouping themselves up so your venti won't miss and after you clear the first wave, the 2nd wave will spawn at that location.. so if you're fast enough + with a strong enough team, Venti's burst could still be going with the 2nd wave.. then you move towards the center so venti can burst and gather them all at the center for the 3rd group, then finally the last group is a bit "north" of the 3rd group that's dead center so after starting the stage, run to D, clear group 1 and 2, move north to C, gather and clear and finally move to D, gather and clear edge A --------- B --------- group 4 (center/start) C --------- group 1 / group 3 D --------- group 2 edge E --------- for 12-2, players tend to focus downing the Hydro lector to avoid freezing since there's 2 cryo and its just using burst/dodge I-frames to survive

This abyss is the absolute worst, I 35 stared it last time, and only 36 stared it this time after about 8 to 12 tries. For reference: I used a nilou bloom team (koko, nahida, nilou, and alhaitham) where nahida and nilou had signature weapons and Al had mist splitter. Second half was nearly what you did here at the end except hu tao over yoi (My hu tao and kazuha had signature weapons, and zhong has 40k hp) even with teams like that it took pure luck on the part of the Ai to line up right. I'd regularly miss 3 stars by 10 seconds, missed it once by 1 second, and my successful run had 10+ seconds to spare. I'm so excited to see it finally change. With Fontaine coming out, I'm hoping my investment in a lot of hydro characters makes it less painful

I don't think she used our sunshine on chamber 1 when she 36 stared the abyss. BUT if you have used her on chamber 2 or 3 with little of tweaking in the team she would slap and you would have been amazed Cuz you know... single target boss

First half they probably just did birst spamming since they have no shielder or healer. Other than skills to run squishy units without protection, i think this is how they did it and yeah unless you play them actively it'll be hard to impossible to replicate the account holder's playstyle. Second chamber is faith in kazuha and bennet i guess lol. Considering i ran nahida for burgeon, i think yoimiya can be replaced with anyone else

Second half Floor 12 it's better to use Nahida because; 1. She breaks the Hydro Abyss Herald shield quite easily 2. She can also break the new boss' shield on Chamber 3

Moga you need killing heralds one be one and in shield phase just do dodge do kazuha Q it's so esy with kazuha

i'd suggest replace venti with zhongli since you put nahida on the first half. venti is only useful at the first floor but on the next stage he's practically useless. nahida's tri karma purificatoin is doing good damage so don't worry about grouping enemies. about the second half, i'd use xiangling instead of kazuha to break cryo herald's shield faster. you need to beat the hydro abyss earlier.
