That's right people, the long-awaited moment is finally upon us. The C8 Corvette is FINALLY able to be tuned with flex-fuel courtesy of the Global B platform. With the help of our friends at DSX Tuning's flex fuel kit, and the fellas at Peitz Performance, we could dial in the C8 using HP Tuners and BOY I TELL YA. The gains... In the past, we used to run multiple maps to use E85 in the Corvette. Now we're able to use whatever mix we want.
In this episode, Erik reviews the setup needed to run flex fuel in the C8 Corvette, including the software. In the test we start with Alex at Peitz Performance getting a baseline on this C8 Corvette, then we'll know what it makes on 93 octane. Then we drain the tank and fill it with E85 for the next run. We'll post the dyno sheet for comparison and give you our analysis on whether or not it's worth it.
