You working with your sons brings back memories of my dad picking me up every day after elementary school and taking me on to jobs with him. Because of my dad I became the youngest preson in FL to get a journeyman elect. license at 14 and two years youngest to pass and get a masters lic. at 16. Thank you again for reminding me of the time spent with my dad. Ray

I'll never forget the day my 92 F350 Cummins conversion started. Promptly blew my break lines. Replaced them all and the following day left for an 892-mile trip (one way.) I figured if something broke, I could already fix it all.

Hi Clint, You must be proud of Tucker doing all that work and then start right up. Seeing Tucker's face when Kevin started reving it up, it was priceless, and yours was one of being a proud father and happy for him. Switch up the consumables on his tig torch to a gas lens defuser and clear pyrex see-through cups… he’ll enjoy the results of those two changes also… I heard him use the word awkward, that torch is a club…CK 230, which is 300amp will remove the awkwardness

Purging that pipe with an Argon back-up would have helped with the appearance of the outside weld as well, as the inside of the pipe would have been clean and shiny. I've been teaching high school welding for many years, and it's rare when I get students with your abilities and attention to quality. Back in the 70s, we used to build Jeeps in our small garage, so I know how lucky you are to have access to so much knowledge and a great facility to learn in. Love the channel.

hello i was a high pressure tig welder and the first thing you should learn is to keep your tig tip as sharp and a needle and turn your heat down heat zone should not be narrow your burning to much metal

Kudos to Tucker for working on TIG welding. Of all the things I have learned in my 50+ years as a mechanic, TIG welding is one of the most rewarding skills, as you can make amazing parts from basically nothing. Can't wait for the first "Road Test".
