Witnesses:
Robert Durst stands trial for the 2000 murder of friend Susan Berman. The trial began just before the pandemic in early 2020 and was halted two weeks in. The restart happened on May 17, 2021, with the same jury panel.
The defendant’s wife Kathleen McCormack Durst went missing in 1982. Evidence and testimony would show that Robert Durst killed her, the prosecutor said. The defendant allegedly told Berman it was an accident and asked her for help. She served as his alibi.
Berman, 55, was shot execution-style at her Beverly Hills home in 2000, and the prosecution suggested that it was because of what she knew about Kathleen’s death and disappearance. As defense lawyer Dick DeGuerin would have it, however, Durst is innocent. His client only came across the body, panicked, and fled, he maintained.

If I rate the court members activity, the first place goes definitely to Mr. Lewin. Realy, he has a perfect logical approach and his questions follow a very strong mathematics. He is a good prosecutor with a special charm. This doctor does his job for that she was consistently paid. I agree that Mr. Durst is waiting that trigger which it could make the difference between guilty and not guilty. And he bring a lot of unknown points in this trial.

It’s called age- I remember conversations from the 70s and 60s but couldn’t tell you what I did yesterday . Long-term memory is a very different animal to short-term memory.

These aren’t Robots, they are real people and fallible. That doesn’t mean everything they have done previously is null and void.

Personally, I don't like the faces she's making to the jury or audience. She's all but rolling her eyes and it looks, despite her education and accolades, incredibly unprofessional and immature. It's pretty obvious that the science is the science, but if the science is based on inaccurate data (ie boy on a bike/woman in a car)) than the outcome must, of course, be flawed. If she can't even see that flawed science, her work must be suspect. Her greed is motivating her, money and fame, not the actual science itself.

I don't want to say, even if I have an opinion on that, if Durst have committed these two crimes(kathy 's) and particularly Suzann 's. For Suzanne Berman' s murder the most important incriminating evidence are for me, those below 1. The cadaver note in conjunction with the letter. 2. Nick Chavin' s testimony and his wife Terry in conjunction with the Julie Smith's testimony 3. Durt's disappearing There are some others but not so incriminating as those above, I think. Maby I forgot some. But anyway, I m looking forward for the verdict because it is a very difficult case!

I am very angry because people who know better was was with all murdered live in silence. In this case, in front of a man who never accept to be against his judgement, people claim to others. A hair dresser, a massage therapist, a car wash man, the drugs dealer.. Why they keep this silence. Here we are talking about lives who were took by extremely violence. We are sensitive to pain, but be killed is the most kind of pain. God see you, all of you who refuse to help solving this case!

Mr. DeGuerin plays well his role. In fact, he is the advocate, this means lier in arabian. He know better than all who is Mr. Durst, what his skin does! His defence plays with some issues, as Katie was addicted to dtugs, she had a love affair with dr. Dean... She expected money from Mr. Durst and she was incapable to manage her life. For that she dissapiered as a ghost! In rest, anybody recall what was with those murdered, even policeman. It is really scary to see this long trial, for a protected man who done all in his life on his taste.

Harassing this witness is Lewin's only play. He knows that the science is well-founded, and for that matter, the same memory phenomena that apply to the state's witnesses apply to the defense witnesses. He wants the jury to hate Dr. Loftus and dismiss her testimony so that they will believe his witnesses, and never mind that they may have had their memories altered by questioning or otherwise.
