Incredibly delicious way to cook Brussel sprouts! Simple and delicious lunch or dinner recipe with this amazing little cabbages full of flavor and highly nutritious! 🥣 Ingredients:
14oz | 400g | 4 cups Brussel sprouts (little cabbages)
1tsp garlic powder
1tbsp balsamic vinegar
3tbsp chickpea crumbs or breadcrumbs
Season with salt and black pepper
Olive oil
1 leek (use the white and light green parts only)
2 garlic cloves
zest of 1 lemon
3tbsp dairy-free soft cheese
14oz | 400g cooked butter beans
30g | 1 oz dairy-free butter

Whatever naming it has as long as we’re eating healthy veggies is fine. Here in my country Japan it is labeled in the market as Brussels Sprouts and I add this veggie to some of my menus cooking it the way I want.👍✌️🤝❤

Same family, but not the same plant. Brussel sprouts have many growing on a single stalk, versus the green cabbage which grows as a single head. I must have spent 30 years thinking they were the same.

Во многих странах есть большой выбор такого масла в магазинах. Веганское масло - это немолочный заменитель сливочного масла, изготовленный из растительных ингредиентов. Думаю у вас такое масло также есть в больших магазина либо в онлайн. Если не найдете такое мало, можете заменить на оливковое масло. Мои самые лучшие пожелания! 🌞 😊 💖

Looks good! Yes, those are actually Brussels sprouts, but they are members of the cabbage family, too. Like kale, broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, turnips, mustard, and bok choy, Brussels sprouts are members of the Brassica or cruciferous family. While technically correct, it would be less confusing to label this recipe as Brussels sprouts.

Yes! That is what I said in my response. Both cabbage and Brussels sprouts are members of the Brassica (cruciferous) family. They Do look like little cabbages, as well. I’m sure there are also differences in language and dialect depending on where you live. Still, “Brussels sprouts” is the more accurate term, and many cooks are educated in food science, so that may be why there are so many comments about this.

Brussels sprouts and the cabbage are two very different vegetables, despite both hailing from the Brassica oleracea family. They are not baby cabbages, nor should they be called such. Appearances can be deceptive, Brussel Sprouts are no more baby cabbages than kale, broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, turnips, mustard, and bok choy.

Not margarine! Dairy-free and delicious butter! It tastes great and cholesterol-free and lower calories and saturated fat. plant-based butter contains higher heart-healthy monounsaturated fats compared to regular butter made from dairy. Not margarine. Margarine and dairy-free butter is not the same. Have a nice day John!
