Forth Eorlingas! may not be the most efficient card in the deck, but I always love adding a Monarch card into a deck. It's a fun mechanic to introduce to a game even if you CAN'T defend it. But you can definitely defend it or recapture reliably here

We Ride at Dawn is very sneaky in this deck. I don't think most opponents will notice it until you cast your commander for free that first time

At minimum it is worth it for convoke, and the tokens are just a perk

@@hometowncommander Only played 1 yesterday, one player used Ezio + Ramses Assassin Lord to kill the noob at the table and make us all lose 😭 Gonna get more games in next week with it and report back. Caesar is one of my favorite commanders!

I wouldn't run assemble the legion, it's very slow. You are paying 5 mana to get one token turn 6 then 2 turn 7 and so on. By the time it's relevant the game is most likely over most of the time.

After the testing I’m inclined to agree. Probably way better stuff in slot
