When people say 'like in europe' word, they didn't mean the lifestyle or infrastructure development level, they mostly mean big part of the culture and architecture style, but that was many years ago, yes you'd got the feeling like in a Greek city, that's why Alexandria was the first destination for many Europeans refugees while ww1, now the landmark and old historic buildings got demolished and other plain residential buildings come instead, and governor doesn't give a f about it because real estate constructors pay tons of money. But yeah back in 1930s during the royal era the city was in the same level of European cities of that time.

I am Alexandrian and I prefer Alexandria a lot more than Cairo. That is beacuse of its good weather, the sea as well as every single beautiful detail about it. Moreover, it is true that the prices in Alexandria are lower than those in Cairo. Loved your vlog and your channel as well. Subscribed! ^^

If you're still in Alexandria, here are some of my favorite places there: -Royal Jewelry Museum (Asr Al-Mogawharat) -Roman Theater (Al Masrah Al Romani) -Antoniades Garden -Fine Arts Museum (Mat-haf Al Fonoun Al Gamila) Food places: -Délices, especially for breakfast and dessert -Chez Gaby (for dinner) -Na3na3 (A lebanese restaurant in Casino Al Shatbi, with a sea view) Hope you have a great time! 🌺

Have a nice time in Alexandria. I haven‘t been there yet. But I want to go there next time when I‘m in Egypt. There are many cities which are more quite then Cairo. For example Ismailia.
