The thing that gets overlooked is that she had 49 points - and 13 assists. She was involved in like 75% of her team's points. That's insane.

​@@jennahawk12 Caitlin is just so different than anything I've ever seen. Her athleticism and endurance is so so elite. Her shooting is better than everybody else and she sees the game like a point guard. As a guy that has always respected women's basketball she has moved mountains for the game in terms of it being respected and entertaining.

14,998 fans in the crowd. Last year the WNBA had their best year for attendance ever at 6,615 people per game. Clark is certainly the face but NCAAW basketball is putting out a fantastic product.

Unfortunately women's basketball doesn't draw the crowds and doesn't make enough money to continue as players are asking for more wages. The owners are men who want to sell, but no one will buy something that no one watches. Ask any female to name one team in the WNBA then you'll know why.

This is how the women's game has to grow. It's not through media hype, it's by ladies like Clark going out there and doing things nobody else can do. I remember the first time I saw her highlights, and I was sharing it with my friends like, hey man, you got to see this girl from Iowa hitting logo 3's non-stop for 10 minutes.
