Caitlin Clark answered questions from reporters - local and national - Thursday morning after Indiana Fever shootaround at Gainbridge Fieldhouse prior to the team's home opener against the New York Liberty.
She discusses her first game, living in Indy for a few weeks, the national attention for her games, Zoobilation, and a lot more.

When you listen to Caitlin talk all the negative online comments fade away. As an Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark Fan hope that all the players on this team, coaches and staff can ignore all the negative crap by haters and not fall for any of it to stir up resentment towards each other. impressive in her interviews, isn't she? Honest, self-aware, says the right things. And has perspective that many 22 year olds lack.

Have to say what a class act Caitlin is . With all the negative things that have been said about her, the hate and jealousy she is recieving , plus the traveling and press she has been doing ontop of being drafted, playing preseason games, then go right into start of the regualr games. Thru it all she has been humble . Hope she continues to be herself.

The thing about Caitlin Clark is that, much like Messi, you just want to keep watching because you just never know when she’s going to get hot, and you don’t want to miss it when that happens. She had several “off” games in her senior year, and then she’d turn around and break another scoring record or go off for 12 assists. People like me keep watching because there is always a chance to witness something truly great.

The similarities between Caitlin and Tyrese are striking... Beyond their God given talent and high basketball I.Q., both of these young stars are very humble and self aware... Indy is lucky to have both !!!

She brings so much to the table. I hope the coaching staff and organization will do what they can do to support her. She is on a poor performing team right now. Coaching performance is still something to watch. The WNBA needs her to be CC. I would give her slightly more than .5 seconds to make a decision.
